IQ levels low here. To get cat totems + luck potions you have to actually actively play the game. Most people playing the game right now are new and would rather have a stack of important items that are guaranteed by server hops than farming chest that have a chance to not give you anything even if you pop all the luck boost. Yes its p2w , but its in the game and can still be taking advantage of + its guaranteed rare items so yes its the best way regardless.

farming items with notifier for an hour will get you 10x the amount of stuff compared to farming missions investigations and bosses. after you collect an item you just server hop. you can easily get 5-10 high tier items per hour with notifier. Meanwhile, I've been farming bosses to level up for hours every day since release and I've only got trash. this game is pretty p2w.
