Revving WM Mack LE Mcneilus AFE Garbage Truck

Here we have a bit over eight minutes of footage of Blue Barrel’s Caroline on recycle in her old Mack LE AFE, 102178.
She actually gave this truck more gas than I was expecting, I don’t know if it actually speeds up the arm or not but it certainly sounded very good and the smell of LNG from these Macks is just so nice. It’s a shame that nowadays none of these LNG Macks exist company wide and of course we know Blue Barrel Disposal ceased operations a little over a year ago.
This neighborhood proved a little difficult to film in with many mailboxes and parked cars blocking the shots. So this video features a bit more use of zoom than some of my other ones. I hate when objects obstruct the frame so I try to zoom in if a better shot isn’t possible, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.

LE AFE!!!!!!! My favorite cab and body! I remember seeing this thing around when i lived in SC. Very unfortunate that it got retired when it was running good as new.
