LOVE MY CHIEF BOBBER!!! They’re hard to get for a reason! I got lucky and came across mine on the showroom floor after doing countless hours of research, looking at different brands and bikes. Most people have to wait at least 3 months which can be a turnoff if you’re ready to purchase now. Let me tell you, it is worth the wait, ride what you want and don’t settle for anything less due to impatience. Cheers everyone!!!

I love what they did with this model. The touchscreen is tasteful and not at all offensive. The engine is so cool and I like that over all they've toned down their cartoony over the top design and gave us something so straight forward and classy. If I had the bones to throw down on a cruiser this would be on my list.

As tempting as the liquid cooled engine is, the liquid cooled engine just doesn't even come close to looking as beautiful as the Chief Dark Horse engine. The cooling fins and push rods, and the way the fins are angled, on the air cooled engine, makes it look incredible. It's a very antique, vintage look, but also high tech at the same time. One of the best looking air cooled engines ever made on the Chief Dark Horse. Worth having, just because it really is a work of art. Thank you for talking about that.

I predict this will be a lot of young people's first cruiser. And (HD) old-timers will make fun of them for coming from lighter smaller bikes (and not getting a dated HD), but it will bode well for Indian in a dozen years or so when they're all upgrading to another Indian motorcycle.

I think the few variants they have look too closely related. The bobber is the only one that should have bobbed fenders. The only real differences are handlebars and tire wheel packages and If you step up the game you can get the 116 etc. Even all the tanks are the same. Oh and they really need to close the gap between the front of the tank and behind the steering head. It looks like it's unfinished and they made the tank bigger to close the gap it probably would fit another gallon of fuel.

The 2014 Indian Chief Vintage with brown leather and Springfield Blue paint is absolutely gorgeous. And the Indian Springfield is one of my dream bikes. But every times I think of dropping $25K (CDN) on one, I picture Polaris announcing the closure of Indian motorcycles three months later. Any happy Victory owners out there? How is the “ten years support for parts” holding up? I know it was a necessary business choice, but I lost a LOT of confidence in the Polaris brand that day.

I’ve never really looked at Indian (mostly because the dealership here is absolutely pathetic!) but these Chiefs look pretty freaking awesome! I really like that touchscreen display with the rider modes and cruise and everything. That’s not even an option with a Harley Davidson.

Do the Indian dealerships demand more the MSRP like HD does or did?

Bike should have an aluminum frame. BTW Arai defiant x helmet is the best I've ever used. Really helps with buffering

Wow that looks really good! Not too big, not too small. Classic, but clearly some modern influence as well. I'll have to pick one up. What sandwich shop did you get it at?

What bike do you recommend for an introductory beginner? I like that style in particular.

Question... is the rear wheel swingarm bolted to the Frame, or the Engine like a Harley?

I really wanted a Fatboy but the issues with handling and braking really turned me off from it if I’m being honest. The Dark Horse is looking like a great option
