Actually, I like that there's so many korok seeds. And I like how they set this up with SO many seeds, you can't help but to run into them. That way you can just collect as you go along, never really need to deliberately look for seeds. (although, I will look for that 'one' seed I need/want for an expansion. Or just because I want a mark on the map to show I've been in that place. Also, knowing there's so many, if I see one that would take you off course, or waste arrows, you can skip it without worrying.

The reason there is so much korok seeds is to make it easier to fill inventory slots. If they only had the set amount it would be harder, but they added a lot extra to make it easier. They serve their purpose. And getting all of them is a waste of time

Just the near 500 it takes for inventory is still no less than twice as many collectibles as any single game should have. Takes near 100 hours for that much, as bad as their inventory/durability system is, further locking it behind that much grinding is ridiculous. Makes it them the least replayable of the non-CDI Zeldas.

They could've done anything else though. They could also have made it not count towards 100% completion on the map like other things do. They also could've just... made the requirements less? Most people aren't even ever going to fully upgrade every stash even close, so it's really silly why we need so much. At this point, just make them smaller in count and smaller requirements.

Newbs before didn't answer right. You need 421 based off the fact the guy in the video has 579 left over. 421 + 579 = 1,000. Most of these Korok seeds are used up by expanding your swords, the other two cost significantly less seeds to upgrade by comparison.

You get Zonaite from The Depths, which can be used to purchase Crystallised Charges. For everyone 100 Crystallised Charges you have, you can get one segment of battery from specific Steward Constructs. There’s one outside Lookout Landing in front of Hyrule Castle Town’s entrance and one by the Recall Shrine on the Great Sky Island. Those two are the only ones I know of, there’s probably more around Hyrule though
