it is what customer willing to pay, OLED screen cost about 250-300$ +work (not including transferring of a chip) LCD (INCELL) cost about 100 maybe 150$. Not all people willing to pay 400$ for a screen replacement.

depends on ppl who want to replace the screen, but the iphone 14 pro original displays costs nearly $300 where I live probably due to the 120hz refresh rate + oled

After many screen repairs, I’ve realized the real issue isn’t whether to choose incell or OEM screens. The problem lies with the replacement glass covering the LCD/OLED. Regardless of whether you go for OEM or a cheaper incell option, both use fragile glass that doesn’t match the durability of the original. In my experience, the glass on both OEM and incell screens breaks easily.

The only downside to incel screens really is you lose the variable refresh rate. As someone who’s using a 14pro I have noticed a battery life difference. On most 10hr work days at my shop. With the screen locked, even when on KZbin listening to audio lore narrations. It doesn’t often budge past 75% with AirPods and an Apple Watch paired.

2 questions what is the current consumption of each screen? Can I transfer the pairing chip from OLED to Insell screen?

Hi， friend. There are no specific current values, but the current consumption of INCELL is greater than OLED. For the second question: The touch IC cannot be transferred to iPhone 14 Pro INCELL for now because the flex cable for connecting the touch IC on INCELL is still under manufacturing. It will be available soon.
