@@wronabeats a lot less teams now. No Audi, Porsche, and Peugeot in the top division and the GT2/Pro Am class is sad. This years Le Mans is just Corvette, Ferrari, and Porsche. No Ford, BMW, Aston Martin, and Audi

Nah, they wouldn't have enough cars to make the race exciting. Also it would be pretty hard to overtake on the Nordschleife in LMP1 cars.

The biggest problem though is arguably safety. Besides other issues, there are a couple places where a prototype could fairly easily catch air and become a Mercedes CLR. And because that happened to a GTR a few years back, pretty much nobody is safe. Not saying I wouldn't love it though, would be amazing.

Hah the good old times! Audi out of WEC, out of DTM and in the next years out of Formel E too because of Porsche who kick Audi out of the WEC and will kick out Audi of the Fomel E too. Said what VW do with his daugther companys who stands for Sport Cars!
