Had the mis fortune of meeting him in 1991 . I was a fan as a kid and went to see him on off broadway in " Blood Brothers" . After the show I saw him on the street and very politely asked him for his autograph.There was nobody around , I had the playbill and he made some rude comment saying something like " I really don't have time for this / I'm busy .." etc...he was obnoxious and arrogant ..and TINY I mean had the physique of a twelve year old kid no taller than 5'5... maybe. All in all a prick. That's his " legacy".

Hey. He was a person. You got him at a bad moment. He graciously signed thousands of autographs. But imagine all the moments in our lives, lives untouched by the crazed mega fame he lived with, where we just wouldn't be able to stop and be polite. Maybe cut him a little slack?

You met him at a later date for sure because Blood Brothers ran from September 1994 to May 1995 in the US.
