Paper Mario is the same as Normal Mario. Paper Jam was already contradicted by an interview with Miyamoto saying that there’s only one Mario, implying that Paper is the same, and is an outlier in canonicity. Paper Mario IS multiversal+, via outer space which was stated and shown to be infinite multiple times and was filled with dreams (which are universes). To be Multiversal+, you need to be able to destroy an infinite number of space time continuums (or universes), and Dimentio was capable of surpassing the Void in base, meaning he transcends the Marioverse, this means Mario is actually Multiversal+.
