Born to #FaizAhmadFaiz and Alys Faiz, #MoneezaHashmi had her schooling in Lahore from Kinnaird College and Punjab University before obtaining a Masters degree in Education from the University of Hawaii in 1981. Wearing several prominent and professional hats, she is presently into her second term as President of the Commonwealth Broadcasting Association, UK; is handling the international relations of HUM TV as General Manager, Pakistan; is the Project Advisor to Light Storm Entertainment; and Trustee of Faiz Foundation Trust and Faiz Ghar. While her area of specialization lies in primary and elementary education, Moneeza Hashmi entered the world of television in 1974 as Assistant Producer of Pakistan Television (PTV), Lahore, and became a well known household name from the beginning. She retired in 2004 as Director Programmes, the first female to date to head this position. She also started a special television series from #PTV, ‘Khawateen Time’(Female Transmission) promoting awareness on gender, human rights, rights of minorities, reproductive health, education, economic empowerment of women, legal rights, and violence against women. Faiz Sahib's "Mujhse pehli si muhabbat mere mahboob na maang" unveils obsession. He has used love to express his thought. He emphasizes on living with a consciousness that evolves with the challenges of journeys it takes on. And within this thought he has woven too the destiny of a stagnant mind that finally tires of it's obsessive frivolous wants and decides to make peace with what is, but when it looks around it is mocked by the rejection of change it had remained oblivious to. Faiz Sahib has expressed that life is dynamic and in the absence of wisdom, recognition of multifaceted time is not possible. His mind took the good from every stop at life and catapulted ahead for more at the destined speed for his journey, and he ultimately shared it with all. Moneeza you were deeply entrenched in your father's heart, he always came back to you and shared his evolving self with you; yet he had to fulfill his destiny which is your proud inheritance. You are still harboring resentment towards "time" your father could not give you, whereas time itself needed Faiz Sahib's help to justify it's evolution. I have to correct you at one place, you don't "go" for a ziarat, you are "called" to receive blessings.

Politicians and bureaucrats find different ways to divide us and create problems... but people of both the countries want peace and love. I hope more people like Ms. Moneeza Hashmi create bridges between the two nations.

Offcourse good people are their in pakistan and some bad people in India....but in India we the people choose govt and so the prime minister... honourable prime minister modi... did invite pak prime minister...all we got is uri n patankot terror and killed our sleeping soldiers from attack from pakistan army and govt supporting this narrative...so boycotting pakistan was and is best decision done by govt.... soldiers alone are not fighting for themselves ...it's indian as unity... See india economic of 3 trillion dollar and pakistan of some 283 billion dollar...this clearly shows what they have invested in nothing but hate n terrorism ....this is reality....only youth of pakistan can change its image and economy.

Also as per official reports, 90 percent people demanded pakistan from 1946 elections fought by Muslim league.... so it clearly shows hatred was there for them...so statement like people want peace , there is brotherhood is not correct
