The only rework to doom i can think of is a parry mechanic, just knocking back the projectile with a reward with it, he already play different and take skill so make harder to learn and more pay off for it

I’m a tank main and was just having fun with the new hog. When in my second comp game testing him out. I get a Smurf doom that was destroying my team, he even had a kiriko pocket. After getting completely wiped during the first round on a cart/ control map, I took a deep breath and stopped caring how unfair this is. Then I played the best hog of my life and waited out abilities, actually used cover, and of course won. I was so excited a gold beating a smurf for once.

When he hits someone with the turn hook, he turns the camera left and then to the right where he wants them to be put. What does doing the little camera sway left before the turn hook do? Does it increase the distance, is to dodge objects? I have seen many hogs do this with their camera when they turn hook someone. Just looking for an explanation of how different doing it with the little sway (when you turn the camera slightly left after the hook hit then aim to the right where you want to put your target) or just doing a normal turn hook.

Doing the right to left/left to right swing can help get your hooked target around a corner. When done right it slightly alters their position just enough so that they are tucked inside the corner instead of bumping into it or being dragged onto the opposite side of the wall

Bro thinks getting shield back on rally is crazy but in reality not only should she get shield back she should get her bash cooldown reset. She's the only character with a restock ult that doesn't fully load her up. Hog reloads scrap gun with Ult, Cass and Soldier reload their guns with Ult, Mercy gets GA back, Doom gets free charge, Phara reloads I think etc.

I know that doom is not a good character against roadhog, but doom can dodge his counters a lot more consistently than roadhog can, so that doesnt make doomfist a better tank overall? I mean if you get antied by ana as doom you can fly away, as hog you either use suzu or use whole breather to save yourself, and this is not only with ana, doom works better imo against every support except maybe brig

Doom’s overall a better tank than Hog but Hog counters doomfist pretty hard. It’s an interesting dynamic lol.

@@prototypeb3480 with doom if you get slept unless they have a widow you can use block when you wake up and then jump out of the situation, with hog you can just use breather, and as I say if you use full breather to try to save yourself and doom only used block and seismic slam then its a trade that is just better for doom, not to mention that if they shoot at you trying to confirm a kill you can get empowered punch and fuck them up later, there is no downside off shooting a hog that is antied

@@Tazeeeee doom block doesnt counter cc but after they use a cc like a sleep when you wake up then you use it, is like using sigma voids, you use it if you know that it cant get interrumpted, you dont use it whenever, the same as block

Dude, your brig was literally trash. She had so many opportunities to finish off low hp targets that you hook comboed but she was one, no where near you in the first place and two shielding at the corner 24/7 instead of swinging when it was appropriate to swing. It hurt my soul watching.

Orisa yeah hog is like half half, your average plat hog is better overall than your average plat doomfist due to their skill floor being different but to consistently do well on hog in gm1+ you need to be pretty good
