😂 The beginning made me laugh! The sun is always in our eyes as soon as we back out of the driveway and head to school drop-off in the morning. My son always knows what I'm then going to sing: "Bliiiiinded by the light..." then followed by a bunch of non-sense words because I don't know the rest of the chorus, lol!

Excited to watch this one! I was working on Draft 4 of my romance novel, but felt so burned out. Started a new WIP, which is a fantasy one. I am excited to work on something new and create a whole world from scratch. I just printed out my manuscript and I'm going to start marking it up and editing soon! Your videos have seriously been so encouraging and make me excited to start my own editing. Love seeing your sticky note process and creating the why and critiques and all the processes!! I definitely understand the nerves of sending your work to a new reader. It's a very big step and it makes sense that there are so many mixed emotions.

🍂I felt everything you were saying while you were ‘rambling’ 😂 I’m 85k into my rough draft of my Romantasy and hoping to finish up by mid October. As I’ve gone I’ve kept a little list of anything that I’ve decided to add, change, or take out so that I don’t stop and go back to do it now and just get it finished. However, I know as I do a full read through I’m sure there will be a lot more, I’m nervous about it but like you I just want to create the best version of the story possible!

did you put your draft into physical book format? I did that with my first novel although not in the first draft and I found it really helpful. Far easier than dealing with 400 pages of printed A4 paper!
