No. The world does not end. Spoiler in VN Endings. Cause he give possibility. That is by traveling space. Remember he can go to moon at 5 drops of life. He said he need ten of thousands drop to travel to planet that is like earth but xx light years away. It is mentioned somewhere in VN. Oc, he can also transport people as seen in ending. And there is another way. Planet resources are almost dry by humans but by Gaia and guardian's technology, people can live with thier life forces so they use earth's resources less. And the reason the world's "salvation", it is because of Gaia-Guardian conflict. But At the end of Terra route, you can see their war is over. I have played VN two times and recently as that but I am sure. Edit: Spelling's check.

Joseph Katzen to be honest, season one was terrible. I didn't appreciate the references to Clannad or Air either. It's like they're abusing those two anime by putting dango and "gao" in this wreck of an anime.

Season one was "Okay, let's make the common route... But with Shizuru pre-route here and part of Lucia's route". That was... Okay, that was right someway, but then... They had to go with an original route whose composition was bad and you don't understand what's going on unless you know about Kotori, Chihaya, Shizuru, Lucía and Akane route. We all expected a grand route to cover the most importante points of these routes in an original and cool development... And it was a mess. And now, we have the anime of the two final routes. Moon was made to be read after you know the destiny of humanity in the different paths this conflict can go on (neutral route, UBW 1.8, Umineko Feel, shit with dramatic end and Heaven's Feel 1.5)... It is a mistake indeed. Is the anime plot bad? Nope, the plot it tries to show is very good, but they didn't do it right. Hopefully, it seems they will make a decent adaptation of Terra, the final route and true end of the novel. So, if you want to know if I'm correct and this thing is good, try reading the VN. It may not be the best VN, but it's pretty fun (except for Shizuru's route, that shit is boring most of the time). Romeo Tanaka is a great writer, and Ryukishi07 did a good job with Lucía's path.

If only they adapted the 1st Season of Rewrite the same way they adapted Grisaia no Kajitsu. I'd rather they rush through each of the characters' arcs than the messy "original" adaptation that we got. 8bit handled Kajitsu's adaptation way better than Rewrite.
