Professor, it is not boring! Thank you so much for sharing your scholarship. It is difficult to find Chan history on the internet.

The presenter has requested that we remove the video for personal reasons. I will be removing it by tomorrow (Wednesday).

Please don't. There are many who will benefit. I did. I am an American but a Ch'an Buddhist and finding videos on Ch'an that is in English is hard to come by. Plenty of subtitles, but not someone speaking English. While I did have some difficulty understanding him - I understood 90% of it - having the text accompany this was GREAT. I learned some things about Hui Neng, the Ox-Head School, Hongren, and Mazu that I did not know. The section on Hui Neng alone was worth it. Thank you!

it's actually a little bit difficult to understand the English pronunciation of the speaker, i found. I was sweeping a floor and listening then asked myself 'did you understand what he said?' after two sentences i got the word 'generation', at the end. Kind of slurred. Its a pity. I'll try harder to follow

the Professor has made excellent work. I only wish my Chinese speaking could be anywhere near so high level. Apologies my above comment, I was in an echoey acoustic environment. It is a deep history. Gratitude
