Rex Heuermann sent letter to 'Happy Face Killer' | NewsNation Now

Keith Jesperson, widely known as the “Happy Face Killer," has been exchanging letters from prison with Rex Heuermann, who has been charged in the deaths of four women found near Gilgo Beach in Long Island, New York. NewsNation's Laura Ingle was able to speak to Jesperson over the phone and get his perspective on Heuermann's case.

There is so much more to this than any of us can even imagine. I have a sinking feeling if the truth ever really comes to surface about all of those bodies we will all be shocked. Whoever is responsible for them didn’t stop there. If there is more than one person, they dumped them elsewhere, same with this guy. If he is guilty, he didnt stop there. There is bodies they may never find.

@melissa For one thing, these are people that are not going to be getting out of incarceration. So the fact that they're communicating isn't really newscast worthy if you're talking about six minutes of news on a local station because nobody is in danger, if that makes sense. BTW I'm in PA, too 😊

@@meganberardino441: Yes, there were initially 4 women’s remains found that year all of whom went missing over a 3 year period between 2007 and 2010. Why do you ask?

@rayray8687 I find it so strange how people in PA didn't know about The Gilgo 4/serial killer. 2010 was 14 years ago & to have not heard a thing or seen ANY type of news on it baffles me
