Good luck with your new project:))) Make sure to have something under to collect their manure, they say it's so good for the garden, can be used directly, without having to age. Have a happy, healthy, prosperous 2022:)))

Whoo hoo Maddie! Way2Go on making that wonderful cage and getting bunnies. I have a buck bunny named Peanut who I believe is a Mini Rex. He was watching your video just now with me and seems to recognize your bunnies. It was so cute! They are all adorable. Sorry for the other male that didn't make it.

Hello! New subscriber from Perma Pastures Farm. I love your rabbit set up. We are planning on getting into rabbits in the spring (for meat though) and Maddie's set up looks very do-able! Thanks for sharing and kudos to Maddie! Great job!

Just trying to catch up with your family. I ran across you from "Sow the Land". It's is very interesting watching from your journey from living in the RV in Oct to right after Christmas. You have come along way. Keep growing and I'll keep watching. I'm learning as you'll progress. Thanks for sharing.

To cool!!! Love rabbits... sold ours to OZ Farms... which ended up at Singlethred. Be sure there is 1” of space between the cages. Rumor is that they can breed through single wire... as always love your content!!! 😀

Wow! That’s wild 🤪. Fun that your rabbits were at singlethred ☺️

Happy New Year. Congrats on getting the rabbits. Should be fun to watch Maddie raise and breed them. My brother use to raise rabbits and also breed them. He was getting like 7 or 8 babies per litter.

Your bunnies 🐰 are beautiful. I would love to have one too. Do rabbits need bedding in their cages.
@GrowingUpHolt2 жыл бұрын
We like to give them something when its really cold out, but honestly I think it just confuses them and they poop on it. 😂

🐰🐰🐰 Are the rabbits going to get some hay to be comfortable and warm and get their feet off the wire? 🤔
@GrowingUpHolt2 жыл бұрын
Yes of course. Madison takes very good care of her rabbits. She learned through 4H, which if you aren’t familiar with the organization, 4H is very thorough in teaching children.

Is it going to have covered back and side so they do t get wet in rain and wind
@GrowingLittleCountryhomestead2 жыл бұрын
Don’t need them yet but when it turns cold they should have something to escape the wind. Are these for pets or meat?
@GrowingUpHolt2 жыл бұрын
Madison would like to breed them to sell, not eat, so that is what we will do for now.

Great looking hutch and bunnies. Good luck with breeding. Do you cover the sides at all when the weather gets to cold/to windy or gusting rain?

Yes, it’s been so warm we haven’t needed to but a couple nights! Hopefully we’ll get some winter weather soon.

Please consider working with Madison to watch the old series about raising rabbits from the Living Traditions Channel. They do raise thier rabbits for meat but the care, conditions, breeding, kitting, and separating the rabbits are all the same. Living Traditions stopped doing rabbit for a while but are currently getting back into it complete with beginning a utube series. The new series woild be good to watch too but, you have the rabbits and should have some additional insight now.
