This song was written by Rev Ahsan Masih in 1955 when he was going through tough situations in his life. Later it was recorded at the CARAVS Studio in Jabalpur Madhya Pradesh in 1966 by Rev Vasant Timothy who also composed the music and arrangement for this song. Since this song was close to Rev Masih's heart, he originally recorded it in his own voice and therafter many versions have be played and recorded. This song was regularly played on Radio Ceylon back in the 80s.

This song holds a testimony in my mother's life where she was getting proposals to marry non-believer bt God was in control of her life, as she was the in the choir, one day she sang this song & a miracle became when she sang this song with a burden & broken heart, she got married with my Dad❤(Sahara) & now all of us (Family of 4 people) serve God🙌 run ministry in Mumbai (Ghatkopar) by the name "Glory of God Trust".
