Since you love the story of how connected the members are, the one thing that got left out of this guide (but it’s in the 2023 guide by the same creator), is that Seonghwa was going to give up because he thought he wasn’t good enough to be an idol, but his dance teacher told him a story about a boy Seonghwa’s age, and how hard that boy was working in order to be an idol, and that inspired Seonghwa to work harder and try out for KQ. Well, the boy Seonghwa was told the story about? It was his future group captain Hongjoong!!…so every member really was destined to be together!

BTW, SAN is my bias too! He is the Dolce and Gabbana Prince and while in Italy for Milan Fashion Week he was only one of a very few people invited to Madonna’s b-day party! He did a performance video to that song by Imagine Dragons. He is well known as The Standard of KPOP! I love all of the members but I can’t take my eyes off of him during performances!😍😍😍

Yeosang is my bias. He’s so precious the more you learn about him and see him. Honestly though? If you start watching the Wanteez series, you may not have a bias at all because they are all so special and incredible in their own ways. Hongjoong and Seonghwa being mom and dad, Yunho being the substitute parent. Yeosang being the favorite/hardest to raise. Sam being… San? I dunno. He’s just adorable. Wooyoung being chaotic and funny and Jongho being the youngest but acting the oldest LOL. Not sure what you reacted to with Ateez songs but here’s a good suggestion list: Guerilla, Bouncy, Crazy Form, Hala Hala, Halazia (my fave), The Real, Pirate Kings, Say My Name, Wonderland, Fireworks, Answer, Thanxx, Work, Birthday, Wave, Wake Up (Hongjoong is phenomenal in this one). Inception, Deja Vu, Not Okay, Treasure, Ice On My Teeth. Outlaw, Django, Cyberpunk, Dune, Illusion, We Know… There are tons more but these are the bangers. The really good ones are named first. By San/Wooyoung/Yeosang there is IT’s You. Love that one. They do not disappoint. Honorable Mentions: Horizon and Precious. Do NOT listen to Killing Voice first because they sing a lot of songs and it’s a huge spoiler.

The most amazing thing about Ateez is their work ethic, creative minds, and bonds among the 8 members. There is truly no other group like them 56:54 you should definitely react to San's Warrior dance cover! It showcases how much of a powerhouse he's become 1:07:07 you hit the nail on the head omg. ATEEZ has always had that soft masculinity vibe where they aren't afraid to be strong, wild, protective etc. but also gentle, and loving, often doting on each other and caring about their fans in a positive way. Every member promotes masculinity in such a uniquely healthy way so I'm glad you pointed that out!

Love how you're in so love with San & can't describe the reason or explain, that's what I felt when I watched Seonghwa first time lol. Now I'm an OT8 tho. Also San used to be INFP earlier, I think that suits his personality more bcoz when you'll watch him in variety shows, you'll see his highly empath side. Also, Wooyoung used to be an Extrovert too (if I remember correctly, he was an ENFP). Earlier only Mingi was the member with "T" that's why they also used to tease Mingi.

If you love Kim Jongkook, you would really love their collab album (Season Songs) with him, there are even behinds of that if you want to watch. They're friends with KJK and yes they appeared on his channel too. I actually watched a story plot lore video that's around 2 hours long. When I finished it, I was addicted to the plot more than I already am. It made me hungry for more of their lore. Also, if you really enjoy San and Jungho's voice, they actually have a beautiful duet song together. It made a lot of people cry just listening to it, myself included. It was so touching I forgot to read the translations as I listened to it the first time. So, I had to watch it again to fully understand the song. It's basically a song about struggle.

ateez is the best group of 4th gen imo, factually no one comes close to them in performance and vocals. As for rapping and dancing there are a few close competitors but overall ateez is the only group that excel in all categories and have an immaculate balance. They literally don't lack in any aspect.

I really loved your reaction to the ATEEZ guide. Please do a deep dive into them and check out their MV’s and variety shows. I started with BTS and in 2019 I came across a MV by ATEEZ and now they are pretty much all I listen to. I had the same thought as you about how ATEEZ reminded me of the way BTS started.
