I discovered this song when for the first time im experiencing college. After not being in school for so fuckin long. Tryna get used to the different teaching styles and how real talk, it isnt nothing like high school. Where the teachers would walk around asking how they could help actually wanting too. Nah the "professors" only do their job which is teach. Regardless if their teaching styles are actually teaching you. I discovered this song when, during a point in my life i was supposed to be helping someone close to me live their dreams which would in return, help me live mine. Well during that process he ended up randomly just not communicating with me and stopped responding to all calls and messages. I tried to figure out why but its still unknown to me. After going through that, i discovered this song and it made me understand better that u cant use someone elses goals to help you thrive with your own or accomplish your own. No one will save you. Its true and i further believe that because during the whole time ive been going through each of these things he and i still arent communicating but its literally right once he started getting traction. He just cut me off. So yeah, focus and save you. Dont allow yourself to believe that just cause someone says they got u..that they got u and that means forever. People change like motor oil no cap 🧢.
