thank you for the footage. im really liking how clean the hitboxes on the monster's attacks seem to be. i genuinely thought that attack at 13:30 was going to hit, especially when i saw the lightning explosion because im so used to janky hitboxes

Bro 8 minutes before I got to see a SAED. I was sweating. Oh by the way, I absolutely don't like they force you to do a AED before an SAED. Also because it uses a phial (or half if in savage) and reduce the damage.. oh and second by the way, what is that ballerina spinning thing? Nice run ^^

I mean, you can access SAED after guardpoint or after perfect block. I like this change because I heavily dislike the impact phial playstyle of just spamming SAED from a distance and hoping for the best, and it always left a bad taste in my mouth that in base World it was the meta. With Sunbreak the Charge Blade got even more SAED centric, meaning that for two thirds of the fifth gen the axe was borderline useless. With its introduction in 4U, the Charge Blade revolved much more around AED sniping, guardpointing and axe loops for damage than SAED and I'm happy to see it come back to its roots in an even more complex and satisfying way than before.

You don't lose that much damage.As long as you over amp, your philes, even if you use one, you're still dealing that massive amount of damage

are you using guard point for the perfect guard or just normal block? becuase i already so used to do the morph attack guard point and its sucks if i need to adapt now

Is savage axe just built in now. Like if you have a charged shield and phials savage axe is just part of axe mode now? If so, I love that so much. Beautiful run man

Yup, it's also much easier to charge the shield, you can just charge it when you load the phials just like charging the sword.

You only get savage axe buff after perfect block or using focus mode attack on weak spots.

If you have phials stored and also have phials ready to charge, dont you just waste all those when doing the new shield charge shortcut?

I heard that overcharging phials extends duration of shield charge further. But I didnt even tested if it was a real thing or not, since I was just too busy having fun with SA

Without SAED charge blade lost that IMPACT factor. That was the sole reason i mained it. now all i am seeing is swirl swirl hurl hurl that sawblade. SAED felt like TCS, both give orgasm when u hit them.

Id rather have both. Saed spam is lame. Now we can do savage axe and saed as the finisher.😂

I like Building up phials and wait for that one hit to connect just like With TCS, Tell me if thats not orgasmic, but then again i did tried the beta and hmm its not too bad but yes i will prefer if we can switch between a full SAED type build and Savage Axe.

not ez at all, that is monster hunter. The monster is getting harder and harder as u progress, what we saw in demo is basically eziest part of the game.

ok stabbing the monster in the foot with youre shield is pretty awesome lol My only complaint is that they made the monsters ai too simple to understand. Need to be more aggressive But im assuming that this is a low rank one in beta so hopefully it changes when the game comes out
