Ben dying makes me devastated. However, if we find out in a comic or book that somehow Ben got Rey force pregnant then I would be at peace. Rey needs someone to love and that could be her attachment to Ben

I don't know about that though. Remember when people were talking about the supposed leaks of the third installment, still during its production? They were saying that Rey got pregnant with Ben's kid through the force and that this third movie was going to be set 5 years after The Last Jedi, and Rey will protect their child whilst fighting for the Resistance. And these images of a young actor who looks like a young Adam Driver came out, and people were saying this could be their kid, or a young Ben Solo. But all of that was debunked and a lot of people thought that those "leaks" or theories were just stupid. Personally, I don't like it either 😅. If this is how they wanted the Skywalker saga to end, with what happened to The Rise of Skywalker and all, then I don't think being pregnant through the force is necessary after the fact. As much as I want Ben to remain alive till the end, they've already made up their minds and went with what we got from TRoS. I do hope we get a special reunion with Ben and Rey in the comic books, with Ben as a force ghost. I also don't think Marvel's going to go through with that. A Shmi 2.0 with Rey is unnecessary now, considering Anakin and his legacy are done with their mission. I don't think The Force will make another "chosen one" anytime soon after the Skywalker saga just ended.

The duo again and again tried to kill each other the past three movies. Kylo wanted her hand in love, but Rey wanted Ben. Again and again, they kept trying to kill each other, and Kylo kept asking for her hand. When Ben redeemed himself, he knew everything that he was doing wrong, and he knew what he was pushing away. In the one scene where they kiss, both of them finally realize that the burning hatred that they had for each other, turned into a burning love and need for each other, so much so that they were willing to die for each other. They shared a Moment of love together, something that neither of them had experienced basically ever. Ben was relieved that Rey was safe and alive, and he accepted that it was his time. He was ok with taking his last breath to give Rey a life. This...... .............. this is a what I call a fucking romance I want this.

Miss Jisoo Kim I believe the reason they killed him off in that way, is to portray kylo as vader, and rey as luke. Vader being turned at his last few moments, and rey living on to become a legend. Although it would've been nice to seem them both survive, it sadly didn't happen.

Yes, but would he be able to live without Rey, as she is his light. He's not as emotionally controlled as Rey, so it cause him to either go back to the dark, or to be too sad about Rey's death. So he tries to bring her back. I think the reason they made Rey live instead of Ben is because if Disney ever want to continue Star Wars in 10-20 years they can say that somehow Rey was force-pregnant by Ben and then continue the Skywalker line.

Reylo is a mixture of Beauty and the Beast, Pride and Préjudice, Jane Eyre, and of course Romeo and Juliet. Adam Driver is such a gifted actor ! We can see that Ben Solo came back just by staring at his eyes, it's crazy ! At the end, just before the kiss, Ben Adam Driver/Ben Solo looks at Rey with absolute adoration mixed with tenderness. It's a loving look as you don't see much at the cinema and television. I hope that Ben is not really dead. I hope he is in the "World between worlds", and Rey will find him, marry him and have children with him (hyper-powerful lol). They deserve so much to live their love story. Oh yes, I hope so much a happy end for Reylo !!!

As much as I love Ben Solo, he never had the time to do that (you know 😏) with Rey, and having him reborn as her son (whom she most probably would have with someone else, if ever) would be flat out creepy since they share a romantic connection together. If you're going to argue, she got pregnant through the force much like Shmi was with Anakin, then that's just lazy writing. And why would the Force do that anyways? The galaxy doesn't really need a "chosen one" anymore. The Skywalker saga ended with the chosen one's destiny officially fulfilled through Kylo/Ben. If I had to think of a possible reunion between the two, I'd wager he'd show himself to Rey as a force ghost, and would probably visit her a lot in the days to come. After everything that happened, I highly doubt Rey would ever marry anyone else since their Force Bond, I believe, (even in the wake of Ben's ascension to the Force) remains strong. She'll probably grow old like Luke, guiding force sensitive kids towards the new ways of the Jedi. Since we all know how it went down when Luke started a Jedi Academy of his own, still following the old ways where the previous masters had failed. The new generation of the Jedi under her tutelage will succeed, where Luke's generation and all the Jedi before him had failed. So yeah... That's my take on the matter. 😅

@@GyuGyrus Yeah, it'll just be an Anakin 2.0 at that point if Rey gets pregnant through the force, but not in the way the Skywalker saga had went. First of all, she's quite strong in the force, and guiding her child towards the right path, knowing where Luke and the previous masters had failed, won't be that hard. What makes the whole thing unnecessary though is the force would not permit her to be pregnant because there really isn't a need to be. We don't need another chosen one like Anakin. His legacy already gave balance to the force through Ben Solo. If Ben force healing Rey is supposed to make her pregnant, then Ben would have been pregnant too or Greef Karga being force healed by "Baby Yoda" would also have been pregnant. (That was supposed to be joke, please don't hate me) 😅🤣 And just because Ben became one with the force or disappeared after healing Rey doesn't mean she's going to be pregnant with his kid or with a reincarnated version of himself. He died because he used up all his life force to heal her. Force healing weakens the person doing it, just like with Rey healing Ben after their fight on top of the Death Star wreckage, and "Baby Yoda" healing Greef (as you see him fall back after fully healing him). Using one's force abilities that require a lot of energy will wear out the user, just like with what happened to Luke in The Last Jedi. So yes, Ben DID die. And Rey's not miraculously pregnant through the force because of what he did for her. I know about the theory going around with Ben disappearing as a part of their Force Bond session ending, and that Ben is actually alive somewhere, just passed out. But after watching the actual scene, I can say that he really is gone and had become one with the force. Just look at Obi-Wan, Anakin, Luke, and Leia's death. They all leave their clothes behind as they pass on. And Ben does it too. Not only that, Adam Driver himself confirmed his death in the movie. So Ben for sure is gone. 😭 I personally would have wanted Ben to survive and live with Rey in exile/seclusion, maybe in the outer rim or the unknown regions, and start a family together (having children at that point won't be a problem, as both parents are still alive to guide them). Because, just like what you've said in your reply, earning forgiveness from everyone in the galaxy is impossible (but not improbable), he's basically a war criminal like Darth Vader. So if he HAD survived, living in exile with Rey is the only solution I know. But then again, what about the other force sensitive people out there? Like Finn, for example. Who will train them? If Rey lives with Ben in seclusion, then she won't be able to train these people in the force. I'm still not okay with what happened to Ben though. 😔 He's my favorite character out of everyone from the sequel trilogy. All I ask of whoever's in charge of making these decisions in Lucasfilm to please, for the love of all that is holy, to have Ben appear to Rey as a force ghost. I don't care if it's in the comic books or a new series, or whatever, just get it done, Lucasfilm. Convince Disney to GET. IT. DONE. I really don't like how they never had Ben as a force ghost by the end of the movie just like Luke and Leia. If he's the new "Darth Vader" of this new "Return of the Jedi", why didn't we get to see him at the end? There were three of them at the end of RoTJ, with Yoda, Obi-Wan and Anakin appearing as force ghosts to Luke. Why didn't they do it with Ben too? Rey already didn't have that much time to grieve for him. And since JJ was already doing a Nostalgia-esque film with TRoS, why not make it three force ghosts appearing to Rey at the end too? Where's Ben? 🤔😢

It still really irritates me that they killed Ben off just like that when there were 3 movies building up his and Rey's relationship... Aren't they Dyads in the force?? Disney ruined Star Wars, Kathleen Kennedy had no interest in the trilogy, she just wanted to spread the word of feminism into it, so they all decided to kill Ben. They are all idiots, not even the cast agree with what they did. :(

Ben was so happy, to finally kiss Rey. Because when he was Kylo Ren, Rey wouldn't even let him touch her. Rey didn't want anything to do with him at all, until he turned to the light. She gave the first kiss. Ben dying was devastating, but he knew it had to be done help Rey live. At least , we know he died of happy soul!!!

So bad ! I'm so sad for them. :-( They deserved a real life together, with weeding and children. Ben had 1000 times the opportunity to kill Rey, but he didn't. He even stopped manipulating her with the Force because he didn't want her resistance to kill her (Star Wars VIII). Ben Solo is really in love with Rey, more than Anakin with Padmé or Han with Leia, because Ben gives his life for Rey while they were enemies for a long time... Ben is not afraid of death, unlike his grandfather Anakin who didn't accept death. Anakin is responsible for Padmé's death because he refused even the idea of death. This makes him dive into the Dark Side, and Padmé died of grief. Let's not even talk about the Han and Leia couple who were fighting all the time. Han was always gone, and when he came back, he quarreled with his wife, Leia, in front of their son, Ben. This couple left Ben with a deep sense of abandonment from an early age, which pushed him to the Dark Side. The Reylo couple is the only Lighthouse couple in the Saga to finish well, in the sense that no one sinks into the Dark Side because of it. This love even brings Ben back to the Light. It is the most beautiful love story of Star Wars !!! A real fary Tale ! Beauty and the Beast in the stars…
