Regardless of how I feel about this sequel trilogy, I love Rey's theme. Will never forget her introduction with the scavenging/sliding down the desert with the music. A new wide-eyed kid ready to take on evil across the galaxy. Star Wars was back! I remember thinking.

Even if I like TLJ, I agree that this trilogy could have a more central history. In terms of going to the point A to point B. But I'm happy that we got her anyway

One dislike?! Are you serious?! Wow. Haters are gonna hate to the max. 🙄 This theme is the one that awakened my need to play whatever I could on a piano! Without this piece, I wouldn’t be able to really appreciate the amount of instruments that go into creating such incredible music.

I love Rey, but I'm just sad that she became a Palpatine in this last movie. It just destroyed her character arc of accepting who she is, and start looking to the future, instead of the past. But I will never forget Rey from nowhere, daughter of nobodies...

Kylo Ren I also think she still kinda is a nobody in a sense. Her parents made themselves nobodies to escape Palpatine and that fact kept Rey safe for years. What was once a source of weakness for her (thinking she didn’t have a place in the story in TLJ) became one of strength in her confrontation of Palpatine. That she is is just a “scavenger girl” is no longer a weakness. That blank slate that she got from her parents allowed her to become a Jedi and through that found her new family (and surname) in the Skywalkers.
