I'm very excited to explore more with this machine. I'll be honest were experiencing some headaches with getting a softer print and longer lasting prints and I know there's a way to do it. Just taking some time to figure out the technique and the software but there's no mistaking, the learning curve is huge but once we get it down, it could be a game changer in the small order part of the t shirt business.

Plus she uses "iColor 2 Step Select Transfer Media" because it lasts longer and is softer on the shirt. If you have the cash Oki Pro9541 Wt is the best so far. It does CMYK+W in one pass and it can print at 13x19". www.oki.com/us/printing/products/textile-transfer-printers/pro9541wt/overview/ If you want to try it out without spending thousands, look into Ghost White toner, Forever Transfer papers and the HP452dw, with that package you can get started for around $1K, way less than just the Uninet or Oki printer alone.

And that was their smaller iColor printer. They have units that can print florescent toner inks, make security badges/IDs, plus the sublimation toners, plus print white, plus the metallic color toners, and so much more. Hey, if you don't want to burn your fingertips making hot and warm peels there is no shame in printing the transfers for others to make T-Shirts, coasters, tiles, mugs, plaques, trophy art, name tags, etc. Pair something like this with a Brother Scan N Cut DX and you've simplified your printable vinyl and sticker making business as well. Cool video dude. I used to make T-shirts using a GeoKnight heat press and my Epson pigmented inkjet printer. Before that I used the Alps MD 1000 which had the cheapest inks on the market at the time for high quality shirts, decals, art prints, etc. The ink went on dry so no bleeding when it got wet. In fact I did a test of printing out the American flag with the Alps MD 1000 and left the print sitting in a pan of undisturbed cold tap water for months. I checked on it from time to time and found the paper had dissolved one day leaving only the interconnected layers of the inks holding the basic shape of the flag together (blue star field and red stripes, with subtext from my copyright notice and the phrase "United We Stand, One Nation, Indivisible"). It was really cool.

Just so you know. There's a huge learning curve. This was a basic print. We're learning how to do more with the software to make the print softer and longer lasting but if you're serious about the shirt business, it will definitely help

Hey reyes love watchin ur videos. I jst started getting into screen printing, bt i been having trouble on the ink to shirt part. For some reason the ink bleeds on the screen and shows on the shirt. Also i tried using a 300 mess net and the ink doesn't go thru as much as it does on the 110 mess net. Any ideas on what im doing wrong or what i can do to fix the trouble? Thanks
