I just took delivery of this pick up truck. Placed my order last October 2022. Arrived at the dealership of choice January 2023. I couldn’t be happier. It doesn’t have all the bells and whistles but it have all the specs that I wanted. I just ordered a drop in bed liner and a set of running boards. I drove it during my stay in the Philippines and loved how it behaves on the pavement and in the dirt. I’m back in the states but going back again soon. I hope there will be more aftermarket add ons available when I get home.

Superb as always, Reygan! IMO, all base 4x4 pick-up models should be like this. Strip off those "advanced tech" that prolly just makes your casa visits more frequent and retain the logical ones like power windows and power adjust mirrors (non-negotiable for me), steering wheel controls, 6spd MT, and touchscreen infotainment. With a base model as competitively priced and feature-packed like this, it's hard to not put this at the top of your list (if you're on a tighter price point) because you probably only need to add stepboards, bedliner, AT tires, foglamps, and nanoceramic tint then you are set af!

agree. power adjust mirrors at windows. hassle sila ipa-aftermarket. iyong infotainment at rear cam at reverse parking sensors, pwede na ihabol after mabili. sana ganito din sa hilux. kahit dagdag ka 30 mil for power adjust mirror ok na e.

I Purchased 1 of these here in New Zealand last week it has bed liner tow bar 17inch wheels with AT Tyres reverse camera side steps 4x4 & it's 2.0 bi turbo 10speed looks good to love it.

I hope for 2024 they put the bi turbo engine in the base model. That would make it the ultimate platform for work or play with plenty of torque and better fuel economy than the single turbo version. Ford has thrown down the gauntlet and made a vehicle for the masses that can do everything a working man needs to get the job done.

this is an ideal off-roader. I don't need the electronics, bells and whistles. I don't need engine auto-on/off as they are also prone to car theft. I don't need step board as they reduce ground clearance when off-roading. I don't need rear step board as it reduces departing angle when off-roading and besides, rear side step boards already do the job. Toyota couldn't give me a base model 4x4 with rear-locking diff, and I thank ford for this option.

The best-looking "Samar cruiser" in the market right now. I mean, all road warriors and Samar people knows this: driving from the Port of Allen, Northern Samar until you cross San Juanico Bridge between Sta. Rita, Samar to Tacloban City, Leyte needs five hours; where three hours of it is offroad highway and would, most of the times, puncture your sidewalls 😅

In our country, yeah hands down it's the Hilux but for #2? Strada or D-Max takes it then comes the Ranger.
