What are your skills? Check if you are needed. Same goes for every European country. There are countries like Switzerland that other EU nationals struggle to get a job in. Make sure you have your C.V. and certificates ready and up to date.

I do not understand one thing why Iceland made that much tough rules for Non Eu nationals, I mean Germany giving Work permit to Non EU, Norway Give work permit to Non EU, Portugal, Spain, Finland, Even Sweden all these countries are give work permit to Non Eu residents, Why Iceland so obsessed with advertising the job in EEA, EFTA ? Even for skilled workers there is no chance. Very narrow minded approach
