Your video inspired me to get those Bissa shoe cabinets. I picked up 3 last week. Just finished putting them together yesterday. I also found brass colored pulleys like yours off amazon. I drilled them in though instead of super gluing. They looks GREAT. The only thing left for me to do with those cabinets is anchor them to the wall because each time i open the drawers, the whole cabinet tips over.

Thanks for your transparency. I find the cost to be high considering that it is all ikea or second hand and that may be because there's too many things. For example the entryway 0:45 There is a console on the left side of the screen with some deco items, frames and a table lamp. There also is another lamp right by the door + another piece of furniture, some deco items and a plant. So it looks like you cannot fully open the door. Also you have a generously decorated home office in your spare room + another desk in your bedroom where you have to squeeze a little bit between the desk and the bed to move across the room. I don't know how often you'd use this second desk. Of course you can afford it (I am definitely not investing $180 in a trash can😀) but I understand from the video that you are also giving money-saving tips. The moment you have to move out is generally when you realize how much stuff you accumulated. So first thing I like to ask myself now is if a purchase is necessary rather than if I can afford it.

Thanks for sharing your insight on interior design. I love that you have endorsed the philosophy of buying unique pieces that you love when they are on sale or even second hand, and that one doesn’t have to buy an entire set of furniture for the look to be cohesive. Black, white, & natural wood as major design elements keep the decor modern and calming. I could be sooo comfortable in an apartment the way you’ve designed yours. Please do a video on how you made your headboard. I love it! Especially the backlighting 👍🏻😊

Beautiful place and nicely put together. Kudos for the work. Your videos are very relaxing to watch btw. One thing tho. In a video you've mentioned that you're renting this joint. So all these pieces, furniture and everything you've bough once you decide to get your own place (I'm assuming) would you take it with you or sell it to current landlord? How does that work? Cause at the minute it seems that you've put so much effort and love in a place that's still a rental?
@reynardlowell3 жыл бұрын
Thank You! Furniture I can just easily move them if I do plan to move, or sell them on Marketplace if I want to upgrade. I've lived here for 2 years; while 'renting' seems like a temporary thing, I think it's worth the effort to make it feel like home (unless you plan to move in 3 or 6 months).
