What's your advice to decorate a small financial advisory office? I love abstract arts and the ones that make the room feels modern and clean. My wall is gray. I was thinking to choose a black thin frame and the art would be more clear. Black will match with my chair.

Love your tips! Where is the best place in the home to hang framed canvas family photos? I’m torn between a large abstract for my living room or medium framed canvases of family. Decisions are so hard. 😅😂

Reynard, I have been waiting for your to-the-point, no nonsense advice. I always agree with your concepts and enjoy your chill posts. One thing....LOL. I am an artist and architect, and disagree that the colors of your art should compliment the colors in the room. Also matching the same style of art to the style of the room is often just boring. Example: in a very traditional, muted living room, a huge pop art artwork that matches nothing usually looks great! The clash of styles creates a strong tension that can be VERY interesting and immediately intriguing and dynamic. This is the OPPOSITE of what you would expect to see. This of course would become the focal point, so I agree that it is important to control focal points. Or a very detailed, refined, almost Gainesboro style painting against a rustic brick wall would do the same thing. Thanks for posting.

i also enjoy a clash of styles. all matching styles starts to feel overly-matchy

Yes, I totally agree with your point on this. Hence I also mentioned in the video that you can use art as an opportunity to break away from the colour scheme you’ve chosen for your interior, or in contrasting styles to your decor to give it some interest. Having said that, this might be challenging (or scary) for those without a 'creative' background, so I do think it can also work well for the art to compliment or have some commonalities, as long as it is not perfectly matching.

Your videos are super helpful and I absolutely appreciate your taste in interior design! There is something so beautiful and calming about the styles you show in your videos (Japandi, Scandinavian, warm minimalism and so forth). Love that so much! Great style of filming and video editing, too! Be blessed!

Thank you for the video, I found out that investing is not for everybody, you just need a strong stomach too see your portfolio go down. It might be wiser for a novice to start with copy trading investing, but it is not easy. To invest in growth stocks it is another level, definitely you need to know what are you doing.

From my own point of view, you need to invest smartly if you need the good things of life. so far i've made over $255k in raw profits from just 6 months into the market from my diversified portfolio strategy and i believe anyone can do it you have the right strategy, mutual funds takes long time but investing smartly is the key for short term. Most of us tend to pay more attention to the shiniest position in the market to the cost of proper diversification.

@@katrinatyler675 I've been solely investing in real estate. But with the recent hyper home pricing i've liquidated a few things and have $45k in cash laying around idle. Would love to get your recommendations, I'm in search of something lucrative in the current crazy markets, i will be glad.

She is a popular broker you might have heard of. I can correctly say she's worth her salt as a financial advisor as her diversification skills are top notch, because i see that in her results as my portfolio grows by averages of 10 to 15% on a monthly basis, unlike i can say for my IRA which has just been trudging along, my portfolio just mirrors what she trades and not just on some particular industries of my choosing.

Great advice. Make your paint and materials timeless and use artwork to express a unique style or mood for its time. Art can take an otherwise plain interior and make it pop. Art can be easily changed when you're style changes. Don't forget sculptures on elegant pedestal bases.

Hey Reynard. Thanks for the informative video. I have a question which if you could please answer. You said that the artwork should be 6-10 inches above a table or a sofa. However if I put some things on the table permanently like a computer or a set of books or a table lamp, then should the artwork be 6-10 inches above the table or 6-10 inches above the object placed on the table? See for example 9:59. Here the two black and white pictures are placed a few inches above the upper part of the desktop screen. So isn't this violating the said rule?

Hi Reynard! This is a good video from you as always, but I think some editing mistakes were left in this one: 1:17, 1:30, and 9:37 - there are photo credits in the corner, but no photo 9:44 - the screen goes black suddenly 7:59 - this is minor, but the A roll is peeking from underneath the photo I still learned a lot from this video, just thought you'd appreciate the feedback. Thanks!

Hey Sheldon! Thanks for pointing these out. Wow, this is actually the third render of the video, so I didn't do another check after that. Seems like the jpeg that was supposed to be there got detached in Premiere Pro, hence the missing images and black screen. Really unfortunate as those images are actually great examples..

Hey Reynard, i have a unique piece which id love to fetaure in a gallery wall as it is not large enough to go into the space i would like it. I fear it doesnt really fit with any other art as it is a bit of a statement piece. Is there a good way to compliment it or get around this so it doesnt look out of place?

@5:42 (Sorry if this is your bedroom). This is bland and boring and too small. You could use a painting that is almost the same size of the headboard, just not bigger. 1/2 the size is too small. This example blends in entirely too much and is lost. The bed and the end tables read as all one piece, which makes it look even smaller. The same would go for a painting above a sofa, almost as wide is a better proportion.
