It is good seeing the BDBITS continuing a tradition that was started even before I joined the Raider Marching Band as a Sophomore in 1976. The band did a great job on what was (and still is) their signature routine. But the way I remember doing it, was with a lot more enthusiasm and vigor. The Sousaphone players even hoisted them over their heads with one hand during the percussion interlude. We were no-doubt a lot less "refined" back then. Thanks for the memories from a 1979 Reynoldsburg graduate.

Class of 88 here. Glad to see they're still playing well. Wish they would hold the instruments higher like we did.

@@velojayf yep. They are definitely more restrained than we were. Perhaps we should go back and show them what a little soul can do in how to play that song.
