Top level TvZ is so dynamic and fun to watch! I like this tournament's format, giving everyone multiple chances to advance after a loss. I guess my only complaint is that Europe's best are all in group B.

demu: 'this (goldenaura) is the best zerg map of the 5.' says it all, this map is great for t vs z. every base has a ramp and there's endless airspace. even serral loses every zvt on it, look at him being bopped by oli at kato and clem here. the fact the biggest sc2 tournament ever was on this map pool with this joke balance patch is a huge shame tbh. 😴

reynor outplayed clem but lost because the game balance is utterly broken and t can do the same thing all game every game with no counter being available. why any zerg pros remain playing sc2 idk, they should quit along with the 80% of ladder zergs that did. oh wait, there's only 4 pro zergs left and 50%+ of every tournament is t, guess they did already quit too. clem: loses reaper rush for 1 drone and 1 queen, loses medivacs to queens, gets baneling bombed, gets army surrounded and bombed etc. a lot of mistakes in game 5 and none by reynor but still the game is endless pressure by clem that reynor simply does not have the tools to deal with even when he commits nothing at all to run-bys until the game is over. just like the game 5 vs serral where serral did everything right into hopeless gg at 13 mins. at this point it isnt even 't has to make a mistake to lose' like lambo said, it's more like 't has to go afk for 5 mins to lose'. what is even the point in this 'strategy' game when there is no counter to the endless tier 1 spam from t? no counter to ghosts, nothing for zerg that can efficiently kill even barely defended bases like here when 30 lings fail to kill a planetary and have to run from 3 marines and a medivac, or when serral pulls his entire army of broods and other expensive units on post youth to the totally undefended planetary of clem and cant outdps like 2 scv repairing it without blowing up 1k of banes on it lmfao. meanwhile 16 marines can smash a zerg base in a few seconds for free, kill a bunch of units for free when zerg responds, then fly away/pull back faster than zerg melee only units can chase to tanks/mines that oneshot everything z can make, rinse and repeat. may as well go play osu tbh if you want a braindead speed clicker game that gives you free wins for clicking fast without even thinking.
