How to Find Diamonds in Minecraft 1.21 [Full Guide]

Here is a diamond farm. (Please pin) Okay so find a trial chamber find a ZOMBIE spawner make a wall around it like 3 blocks wide in each direction so they can spawn and then fill it with water. Bring an ominous potion and they will spawn with diamond armor and weapons. After they turn into drowns kill them and they give their armor and weapons with guaranteed protection IV. It takes 30 minutes each time but it will also give you an ominous key to get even more diamonds!

i got 40 diamonds in 20 mins by caving in a lush cave, SO also look foor azeala trees for big caves under them. edit: i did use a fortune 3 pick, but mined 20 with my silk touch.

that is simply an opinion. i like box mining. you dig down to -35 and from your ladder you are #13. so from your right to your left in both directions you dig 12 blocks and then east to west is=n this shape + (a small t. this puts you at 25 X 25. you cant use an even number. only odds will do. set up this quick and easy mine on levels -35 -40 -45 -50 and -55/ amy lower and you are asking for a lava nath. not fun. this method i have done several times. with fortune 3 i netted 842 diamonds. this is not typical in all worlds. your results may differ from mine. good luck.

ive done this several times as well. 651 is my best count in 1 hour. the deeper level you box mine the better. but as you stated anything under -55 and you are asking for trouble. strip minng of old is in the past. Box mining is far better.

I've obviously been exploring the wrong caves, as I have only a handful of diamonds. Also, 'diagonal mining' can be done a little more efficiently if you have each tunnel 3 blocks above the other tunnel rather than just two. You still reveal all blocks if you think about it, but as the tunnels are little further offset, means slightly less mining.

Something is not right with that list. Unless the rule changed, Mojang had indicated in 1.18 that diamonds would be subject to reduced generation when exposed to air, which is why aquifers and strip mines were supposed to have more than caves. I rarely see diamonds in large caves, so resort to strip mining. So what's the deal?

The actual reason that we mined diamonds in water caves is because the vein is much bigger than normal caves.😊

In 1.21 you cant build raid farms... sadly now the head pillager drops a Bottle of Bad Omen and NOT THE EFFECT ITSELF. So there are no free diamonds or emeralds....

It's good to have alternatives. Maybe you don't have good equipment yet. Then end city farming might be the best for you. So much gear you can combine at an anvil and you get lots of shulker shells, gold, emeralds, iron, elytras, healing potions, armor trims, chests and end chests.
