A lot of people say the BiS remake wasn't that good though. A lot of the charm and style were gone, and the gameplay is a lot clunkier. It probably would've been a good "last hurrah" for AlphaDream if it was a good remake though.

I mean, the remake was released for a console that 1. was at the end of its life cycle and 2. could still play the original game, so I don't exactly know what demand there was for it. Better to just release the remake for the Switch as that would have solved both issues.

@@paperluigi6132 It'd be tough but it can definitely work with some creativity. You'd have to tweak a couple of the minigames (particularly the carrot one) and you'd need a toggle map button, but I don't think it would be an impossible task.

Fun fact: the jumphelmet in this game is use as it was going to use in dream team the jumphelmet was going to be use in dream team but it went unused due to having no top and bottom screen

Mario and Luigi brothership is so underrated. Most journalist only play the first hours and scored it. Yes the game has a very slow start but then it become more interesting. And ir is a 40 hours adventure

You missed the bowsers inside story shell attack reference in the one boss fight in brother ship wheee if you jump on a koopa. It turns into the old style attack

In Superstar Saga there was an attack that looked similar to the green shell tandem attack. There is a nod to this attack (and the og shell tandem) by fighting the koopas on the newest game.

The shell changes are good Hatch me if you can looks solid Jump helmet looks tricky, I haven’t played it yet but does Luigi even cast a shadow you can at least follow

I love that now the Red and Green shells have different uses instead of just being the same move. Green Shell now finishes with a sweep attack that hits all enemies, very useful if you want to finish off a bunch of low health enemies with a very low cost tandem attack. Red Shell is now a one single very strong hit and another low cost tandem attack. Another thing I liked from Brothership is that now tandem attacks level up with you. Superstar Saga and this one in my opinion make the tandem moves increase their damage and effectiveness as you level up, while games like Dream Team leaned a lot on the newer moves the player was getting. For example, in Dream Team the shells were mostly useless by mid game, and the red flower as well, unless the player was using it against a specific plant type enemie weak to it.

red and green shell are much better at conveying that they're different, for the longest time i didn't realise that in dream team the shells work differently lol yoshi egg attack is way too short and easy now, partners in time wins here as cool as the yoshi hatching part is jump helmet is actually fun now wow i certainly like to see it all on 1 screen yoo who cannon is pretty much the same but i love that you use a big cannon at the end bomb derby actually seems to require good timing now, can't rush it as well anymore overall the bros attacks in this game are pretty good
