So appreciate you demoing in SharePoint as well as Dataverse, Reza. My IT team won't pay for the Dataverse licence so i'm forced to stick with SP and many content creators are moving their tutorials more exclusively to Dataverse so i sometimes feel i'm getting left behind. Many thanks for being among the best PP content creators in the world that still looks after us SP users!

Thank You so much! Don't worry as I will always try my best to cover both data sources unless the functionality clearly demands a particular data source.

Great modernized solution to this template. I forgot that was there and it’s pretty powerful out of the box. Great adaptation.

Another useful and insightful video, Reza. Never paid particular attention to the Screen Templates but it appears they can be extremely useful. Particularly liked the filtering combinations so will adopt them. Thanks for sharing as always.

Hi Reza, At 12.29, Is “in” a delegable query on the related table? As per MS, in is only delegable for columns on base data source. Assigned To is not your base source but Project tasks. Another question, how do you use a filter query on the gallery if the gallery should display columns from other related table? Can you make a delegable filter query with joins in filter?
@RezaDorrani18 күн бұрын
As shown in video, it is delegable. can you share MS source where it is started otherwise. Scenario 2 is not something I have tried, hence not sure
@x1262418 күн бұрын
@@RezaDorrani Not sure why I can't paste the MS docs link here, you can find the docs with the title "Query limitations: Delegation and query limits". Here's what is mentioned there: "In is only delegated for columns on the base data source. For instance, if the data source is Accounts table then Filter(Accounts, Name in ["name1", "name2"]) delegates to the data source for evaluation. However, Filter(Accounts, PrimaryContact.Fullname in ["name1", "name2"]) does not delegate since Fullname column is on a different table (PrimaryContact) than Accounts. The expression is evaluated locally."

Hi rezza, I am in the process of creating survey tool in powerapps it contains around 500 questions under multiple categories, each questions have 5 choices as answers , I tried to create using dataverse table as a source, but tool is very laggy and experiencing slowness… is there any workaround to create such tool. I can’t create using SharePoint list since restrictions creating more columns
@RezaDorrani17 күн бұрын
Not something I have attempted. Hence not sure of challenges or limitations. I will recommend checking on the forums at powerusers.microsoft.com/ in case someone has done something similar.

HI Reza, I am trying to create a Powerapps for my team which contains a list of 20000 customers and the service they provide. My team members would search based on country and services. The issue with the app is, it is not showing the complete results. What should I do? Any suggestion will be appreciated..
@RezaDorrani18 күн бұрын
I cannot comment on it without knowing the full context. Many factors can play a role from data source to column types to formulas used to how the info is being sourced in app. Best to post your issue with screenshots on forums community.powerplatform.com/
