You've only gone and bloody done it! Great idea Reza! once again you excel yourself! Have you found this method submits the form faster than the normal way of uploading images to sharepoint using Flow? I have a mobile app that users can take pictures and upload, but always felt it takes away user experience, as uploading an image can take up to a minute or even longer. If this is faster as it uses the in built data connector im going to try it, i can use flow to stick the image in a picture library after, especially if its more reliable. Thanks again
@RezaDorrani2 жыл бұрын
You are absolutely right! This is way faster than the flow method because all of this happens with the SubmitForm query to SharePoint. When sending images or files via flow, Power Apps has to pass the entire payload (of files) to flow and then start adding the files one by one.

I just wanted to express my gratitude for your assistance. I have to give you a 5-star rating in all categories. Despite usually having trouble following instructional videos, I was able to successfully use your approach to save attachments within my app. Thank you once again for your help. It seems like it might be possible, but I'm not entirely sure."I usually have problems following videos but I was able to get my app to save attachments using your approach. Thank you again. Thanks for the detailed information...very well communicated! I am having one issue however, based on some of your previous instruction, I am using the edit icon in the gallery to move to a record (already entered). I currently have ClearCollect(colAttachments,attachCtrl.Attachments);EditForm(frmVehInfoEntry);Navigate(Screen3,ScreenTransition.UnCover) in the OnSelect, but attachments do not populate in Power Apps when I review on my desktop. The attachments are present in SharePoint and on the iPad. Any suggestions? Well, I closed and reopened on the iPad and attachments were gone. Still in SharePoint though.

The compressed file must contain the following files at its root: solution.xml, customizations.xml, and [Content_Types].xml. App shared is probably not a solution file. You need to simply import it as an app.

I have a power automate flow which runs when an item got created or updated in sharepoint, where I have email list. Now I would like to attach sharepoint list attachments to the emails what are being sent out from the list. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I was watching this video but it is so confusing as it doesn't show specific instructions for Pen Signature. I was expecting some guides from the moment you add the pen input to setting it up the button that says "Capture". Are you able to help me or show us how you do it?

Hello, thank you for your very interesting videos. I am currently developing an application for electrical installation inspection. The goal is to define a location using 2 dropdown lists (Basement - Cellar... 1st Floor - Bedroom...). Then I write the problem that there is, or I retrieve a sentence already written in a SharePoint list (to save time and avoid writing the same thing several times). I would like to be able to take one or two photos to provide more details about the observed defect. So, my screen is made up of 2 dropdown lists, 1 text input, and a camera control. I wanted everything to be saved in a collection (viewed in a gallery). Once my inspection is finished, all this data would be saved in my SharePoint list. The problem I have is that the photos I take are not saved correctly in my collection. I would like to be able to view the image in my collection (and in my gallery). In your video, you explain how to save attachments which is great, but could you explain to me how to take one or two photos and view them in my collection (the photo itself and not just the data)? Thanks again for your many interesting videos and thanks for your help. Sorry for my english. Thanks Jérôme.

In one of your videos, you show how to take a photo with the camera and save it to a collection, then display it in a gallery (Power Apps Save Pictures to SharePoint - Camera Control Tutorial). I managed to do it a few weeks ago, but recently, the image data is displayed, but the image itself no longer appears, and in my collection, I have a "table" symbol instead of the column... Do you have any ideas? Sincerely, Jérôme.
