@toaster leave it alone brother. facts dictate, both tyson and ali were "dominated" AFTER their respective returns, more than they ever were before they left. that said both tyson and ali still did great in their non prime years. tyson went on to win the IBF and WBA titles he only needed the WBC to reunify the heavyweight championship. ali also went on to win the championship again and both fighters in my old mans opinion had their best fights ever after they had come back. we got to see both fighters heart and will, like never before i.e. after they had comeback. If it wasnt for some of the beatings the aforementioned took, we wouldnt respect ali and tyson as much as we do today. we got to see 2 fighters (ali/tyson) fighting with diminished skills, but with the heart of lions. anyways...boxing hasnt seen any good days in a long long while. even though maybe your opinion and mine are different on things, or maybe the same i dont know. i still respect that youre a old time boxing fan, watching old boxing vids, commenting with people, its all good. anyways man, good luck to you and God bless you and your family. generic username so how do you learn from philosophers and scientists if you don’t quote them. Your learning the knowledge they provide yet your not quoting them? It’s like learning from someone who’s knowledge you never read or heard of. Controversial much. So at so certain point before you quoted them you were “ignorant of reality”. Furthermore what makes your knowledge justified vs the person your criticizing. Your justification comes from theories which can be disproven so with epistemology your beliefs are questioned as well.

When i study mathematics or biology for example, i'm not learning much about the people who discovered what i'm currently studying. I'm also not learning quotes from them, and why should i? It would be unnecessary. And why would i need to quote them to discuss religion/philosophy? Congratulations, you managed to thoroughly confuse me with your broken logic.

Ali’s biggest legacy was his *character* The world has seen many a good sportsman. The world has seen many who have stood for change. Many who have made the world a better place. Many who have stood against racism and oppression. Many who were kind. What made Ali so unique? All of the above. However his biggest legacy of all is that of his character. He is called the greatest by so many and yet Muhammad Ali’s most famous quote is “God is the Greatest” He is called greatest by so many others because of his undeniable compassion and love for humanity yet he followed and lived his life in the footsteps of another man… loved and will be loved by so many until the very last day and beyond. Who is this man you ask? Well Muhammad Ali loved him so much *he named himself after him* Even until his departure, Muhammad Ali lay on his hospital bed listening to the Muslim call of prayer which goes “There is no God except Allah and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah”. Yes. We are talking about Prophet Muhammad. God’s peace and blessings on him forever and always. The outpouring of love for Muhammad Ali the boxer, the heartbreak of wanting him to be around, the awe of his compassion and kindness and how he changed this world for the better, only makes the mind boggle and wonder what was in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to see and live with Prophet Muhammad. How their hearts were elated to be among him. And torn at his departure. The same goes for Prophet Jesus. And other noble prophets of God. And yet all the Prophets of God, know Muhammad (peace be upon him) to be the best example of a human being who has ever walked this earth .It is no wonder the world was touched by the boxers character if he dedicated his entire life to following in the footsteps of Prophet Muhammad. May they be united in Paradise with the righteous. May God have mercy on Muhammad Ali. 🤲 Ameen

@supernova; He actually did that in almost all his early fights. He first feels them out, then sticks his face up there for them to hit. He slips their punches to mock them.. then, ends it. FYI -Liston was known for being a CRUshing puncher. THAT was what EVERY fighter who fought him had in the back of their mind. Then, in the 1st fight, Liston connected squarely into Ali's body. After the fight he said it 'felt good'.. but, not that the impact felt good but that Ali then knew what was behind Listons power and knew he could take it. It was then (after he got the s*it out of his eyes and they quit burning) that Ali loosened up his elbow defense, and used his massive 'jab' power on Liston.

Sonny had injured his right knee & pulled a tendon in his left shoulder in training and his handlers filed a petition for a medical postponement for his 1st fight and were denied. By the end of the 4th round, Sonny had torn the tendon off the bone and it bled into his bicep. Sonny was in incredible pain and quit on his stool at the end of the 6th round so despite it being a great performance it was far from a fit sonny that he beat and honestly i think that prime sonny would've beat him but we'll never know .

The most impressive part of that is that Sonny had an amazing reach.

@@gamingfornoobs2309 I'm with you. I 100% believe Sonny had injured himself in the first fight, and in the second he was forced to take a dive. I believe without a doubt that in normal circumstances Sonny would've won.
