I recently bought the TBS Tango 2 Pro Radio and I spent 3 days trying to get this issue fixed where I would bind the radio to the receiver but the radio wouldnt connect to my drone saying RF Signal Critical, Telemetry lost
I could connect ok about 20 % of the time

WOOHOO!!! Thank You Patrick. I watched your video a couple times and thought "No this can't be what's wrong with mine". I looked all over the internet, and couldn't find anything that worked. Then I talked to TBS support a few times.(which did work temporarily. I finally tried what you showed on your video, and it worked right away. Thank you so much again

Thanks a lot Patrick! Had exact the same issue today after changing my nano diversity rx. The RF seems to self-heal itself, after beeing a couple of minutes off. Restarted it, and the connection was successful again without formatting the sd-card. But i will format it if the error occurs again. My main problem was that i had an nano diversity rx which i could not bind at all. I tried all the firmware updates, but no success. So i ordered a fresh diversity rx and set it up today and also had those binding issues. Upgraded then to the latest tango rx firmare (6. ??) and after that i was successful binding both receivers, but bound then successfully with the normal antennas that you get in the nano diversity package, and changed after that back to Immortal-T. Still don't know what was the issue, but some days ago when i tried the first rx, i also tried with the newest beta firmware and could not bind it. I think i'll open a ticket. I had these issues only with the diversity rx which i use for my 7" Quad, no issues with the normal nano rx. And i'm still new to Crossfire, was flying Spektrum DSMX before. Thanks again!

I really appreciate the video. I am having the same problem but this does not seem to fix it. I tried the 2nd suggestion of deleting the bin file, but also no luck. "Telemetry lost. RF signal critical"

Hi! had similar problem after bought 3rd quad(nazgul5 hd), had lq critical and telemetry lost,orange light after turned on tango 2 about 30 sec, nothing helped. Last what i tryed was to turn tango wifi off (forgot wifi) Now 2 days has passed, problem disappeared

I just tried this with the Jumper T Pro V2. And it didn’t work. Just wanted to give an update. If I do figure it out I’ll try and make a post here for anyone looking in the future. Same problem though. Power up and connects to my mobeelte6 and immediately says “rx critical”

hi patrick, im having trouble binding my new quad as im new to the game to. Ive done what you have said and its still flashing green on the transmitter. im not sure if im binding my quad properly more so then the transmitter? ive got a iflight bumblebee v3 with tbs crossfire reciever. hope you can help

Yeh it can be a little fiddly. I had similar issues. I am still new to fpv and I wouldnt be the go to person to ask for help, but I can try. When you have a nano receiver ( the little chip soldered to your FC ) it automatically goes into bind mode. Then with your radio ( I have the TBS Tango 2) Go to your menu > tools page and select TBS Agnet lite. Then go to Tango II XF. Then pick bind. IT should bind. It may need to update the receiver to. If that doesnt work. Plug your radio into your computer and update the firmware with the TBS Agent app. Then try again. I had to do that once as my radio firmware was old vs the firmware on the receiver

@@PatrickGuerrisi yep I have updated my radio on tbs agent x but not sure with the receiver I’m plugging that into my Mac and it is not recognising it on tbs agent app is that how you update the receiver aswell?
