rFactor: Kiwi Chaos (NZ Superstocks @ Kihikihi Speedway)

Kiwi Superstocks are among the most highly requested cars for me to race on this channel and it's been hard to find a way to create good quality content for them on the channel. Finally I've found myself with an opportunity to race a league that will hopefully allow me to bring more of this content in the future but you guys need to let me know if you want to see it!

This is great. As a New Zealander love the superstock racing and it is always entertaining. The teams racing is the best in superstocks

There is team racing in this league but given my lack of understanding I imagine I wouldn’t be very useful with the strategy etc. I think I’m better off sticking with the solo stuff for now 😆

Ikr the teams is the best and the superstock gt is also the best coz I went to one of the meetings of the superstock gp in napier and I got partualy deaf from it.

Hobbo, After watching this i think you did really well for a first timer and it doesn't look like it will take you long to get up there. Biggest thing tho get more aggressive lol we dont mind getting hit everyone gives as much as they get at kokpit. And your over all finishing position was 12th over all out of 19 so a solid effort. Thanks a lot I had a really fun night. I like that it’s quick and doesn’t drag out either. I have a lot to learn and for the first crack I very much just wanted to keep my nose clean but Ill have to get the elbows out in future races no doubt! I also hope to be able to get a run in the saloons down the track, they’re right in my wheelhouse so looking forward to a run with you guys in those at some point too 😃 thanks again for having me!

Yeah definitely was overdriving the entry. I was finding the off throttle deceleration tough to master as if I tried to keep the entry slow I found the grass to easily and was mindful not to upset people by cutting the corners if I could help it. I just need more seat time really and a chance to learn the tracks

Reminds me of BRISCA Stock Cars. Not the type of racing I'd want to see in person, but it looks like its fun to race online. In some ways the carnage in this wasn't nearly as bad as some of the real life short track footage I've seen!

While I agree that it’s an unusual format and style of racing I wouldn’t call it stupid. It’s actually pretty impressive how these cars are built and designed for this type of contact racing. It’s definitely a different experience to race when you know contact could be coming at any time

DrKaRtZz18 It's pretty fun to watch in real life. The variety from race to race can be very different as well. For example one race there might be no insane hits at all with just clean racing the whole way through and then other races there might be drivers targeting others putting in insane hits flipping them on their lids. Ends up in a lot of fun and intense racing especially when the championship leaders are getting targeted! If you haven't had a look yet, I would recommend searching a few videos of real life racing in this Kiwi Superstock class; especially at the Palmerston North track :)
