Formula for depth of penetration will be same sa ect. But in NFT we are inspecting cs materials, so the depth of penetration will be limited to the near surface only due to high permeability.

the depth of penetrate due to the frequency, electrical conductive and magnetic conductive . you can use the formula δ=503.3/√fμrσ which is for the ferro-magnetic material.
