When you go back to doing black metal episodes, I’d love a Woods of Infinity/Aktion T4 episode. My first time exposure to Ravenlord was “Summer is not my Friend”. Everything has a tongue-in-cheek undercurrent but the NSBM riffs of Aktion T4 are unmatched.

Great episode, I agree with your analysis on the first wave black metal stylings on RIP, some of the riffs there sound like a technical version of Master’s Hammer. I also suspect that T. Baron’s virtuosic soloing influenced Trey Azagthoth in early Morbid Angel

Love me some Coroner. Oddly enough while I like everything Coroner album my ranking is basically the order the albums they were released in lol. RIP and Punishment are tops the next 3 are great too but nowhere near the first 2.

Guess I'm a heretic in preferring the albums starting with No More Color rather than the first two - a bit less hectic with more maturity to them.
