Harris' Truancy policy was not intended for people like Cheree Peoples and her daughter. Although the school tried to work with Ms. Peoples and they were often in dispute how to accommodate ... it was the District Attorney in Orange County (a Republican) that was up for reelection, and he did a big truancy sweep under this truancy law - NOT Kamala Harris. The District Attorney did not necessarily implement the law well as he may only received information that the school gave him. See how details changes things? I’m lucky I had a similar thing happen to me but my court appointed attorney had it thrown out. My also straight A daughter is now a Pharmacy Tech and a University Student. Her Vice Principal was a narcissist just like Kamala. He did not care one way or the other that my then 11 year old daughter had severe endometriosis. He did everything illegal that he could to make me and my daughter look bad. I had a good hearted attorney and logged everything. Thank God. It’s great to hear RFK Jr bring these people to light.

She ran away from her family trying to put her away. I helped her to get home as she just wanted to scare them. God Bless this beautiful family! When a child is sick it’s hard on the parent(s). When a child has illness that requires hospitalization it’s financially, emotionally and physically draining.
