@theun4giv3n

Most chronic illness is personal choice from bad diet and bad life styles. The easiest way to fix that would be to ban many of the processed foods, sugars, seeds oils and unnecessary chemicals in food/fertiliser/pesticides/herbicides etc (basically ban mass produced chocolate, cake, cookies, sodas etc make it next to impossible to produce and sell them in the US). Make kids at schools HAVE to run a few miles a week. If a person wants to go on welfare then their BMI has to close to average. No money for lazy fatties that eat and drink too much.

RFK is 100% correct about that critical study of our health epidemics really starting in 1989, there are 13 possible candidates, and we chose to study them we could find out pretty quick which are the biggest culprits. We are intentionally NOT doing that study so that 1) companies can save money by continuing to use toxic chemicals and 2) big pharma can make more money treating chronic disease instead of preventing them. More people need to know about this.

@@Stan_Vanderakt even in states that make you pay, you can still go in and get a printed piece of paper from the DMV/Tax office that basically doubles as your ID and driver's license. My wallet was stolen in 2016 and I had to go in to get one in order to be allowed onto our local shooting range despite the fact they had a copy of my ID on file. At first the rangemasters tried to deny my paper ID, but after I told them I used it to vote until the state mailed out my replacement card they eventually allowed me in. That's right, I didn't have a physical picture ID from the state and I voted... In Florida no less. I'm 100% positive these places will allow people to vote even without ID. Pennsylvania allowed a man from Ireland to vote despite the fact he admitted he wasn't a citizen in his full lucky charms accent. They said "it's above my pay grade to decide, let them sort it out" and she handed him a blank ballot.

Tim's show is one of the best interview shows out there because he structures it like the sort of conversation you might have in your livingroom over beers or rootbeer floats. He gets a lot more out of them that way and, in this case, RKF Jr. showed himself to be a more or less old-school liberal of the Baby Boom Democrats. The problem with that is he represents the Demoratic Party that had drifted so far left that Ronald Reagan had to become a Republican. Is he better than Biden? Probably. Is he better than Trump? I have doubts and I'm not voting for Trump. Is he better than a sane Libertarian candidate of the Mises Caucus variety? Absolutely NOT!

@@noahblack5620 I consider myself libertarian in a very broad way as I have been around a while and academically explored most of its corners so I understand the different factions arguments. I normally vote L for president and split my lower ticket, but this time I am likely voting RFK as a pragmatic compromise. I have never voted R or D for pres. in the general election, because that would be a useless drop in the ocean (even when I was a convention delegate for a one of the major parties). For a 3rd party, just one percent can make a big difference in publicity and ballot access in future elections. And as we see this year that little "3%" is enough to influence Trump and RFK to adjust more libertarian because the last few elections were that tight. The same tie-breaker roll could be applied to congress with just a few seats. The LP isn't really about getting a presidential candidate elected, nobody there thinks they are going to win the general election. The campaign is mostly about gaining awareness and fostering interest in the concept and party, as well as helping legitamize local LP candiidates (Who do occationally win elections. Inviting candidates from other parties eg Trump and RFK, brings more publicity.) The libertarians as a group are about making a logically consistent platform from first principles, (hense "the party of principle") built on the axiom of non-aggression (You shouldn't attack but can defend.). Normally this entails people finding their own solutions rather than top down one size fits all "Solutions" to problems. This of course leads to lots of healthy debate within the group about exactly where those limits are, definitions, dealing with murky corner cases and so on. Also, a lot of debate around practical strategy, what can be achieved in the short to medium term, the order that things need to be implemented in, and of course where is it acceptable to compromise (picking battles) while still pursuing the fundamental goals. Mostly, in my early political days the LP was a beer and pizza with political conversation every 2nd wednesday of the month (This varies widely by local party group. Feel free to start initiate it)

How is delivering a 9 month dead baby less life threatening to the mother than delivering a 9 month living baby?
@kawkasaurous
@kawkasaurous 4 ай бұрын
@the_lightnessofbeing they separate the spinal cord in the womb. Doing this is more risky because if any flesh is left it will rot and cause sepsis. @lelamarkham5863
@lelamarkham5863 4 ай бұрын
It's a good point. She doesn't have to "deliver" the live baby. They can take it by C-section. I have a friend who was in a serious car accident and in a coma when she was six months pregnant. The doctors took the baby by C-section when his lungs were ready for birth while his mother was still in a coma. She woke up a couple of days later and, yeah, she has brain damage, but she would have had that regardless if she carried the baby that extra month or not. She's glad her husband refused to let them kill their son. Sometimes babies die in the womb and sometimes labor doesn't naturally occur then. I have another friend who went through that. Eight months pregnant and the baby stopped moving. They "delivered" him by induced labor because she was carrying a corpse. It would have eventually killed her. Techniquely not an abortion, but the doctors did offer her the option of a partial-birth abortion. She chose not to mutilate the child she and her husband had wanted. There are very limited times when abortion is necessary and to save the life of the mother. The rest could be taken care of by C-section and a NIC-U, but they don't use that option because it is rarely ever that the mother's life is REALLY in danger. And if they were really serious about not producing unwanted children they'd actually use contraception the way it is meant to be used. Far too many "unplanned" pregnancies are a result of carelessness. And the women can state they can't "afford" a child, but the truth is usually that they don't want to prioritize their life, including their spending, for a child.

I am pretty much a single issue voter, and that issue is the 2nd Amendment. I spend almost $1,000 on guns and ammo per month, so that I can take new people out and show them how fun all the different aspects of this lifestyle of personal power and self-sufficiency are, which softens them to the idea of gun ownership and more importantly: Self Defense. That being Said, if both houses agree on an extreme, gutting, anti-2A bill, then it's to the point of meeting the requirements for a Constitutional Amendment. What RFK's said is pretty much "If the rest of the country wanted to amend The Constitution, I wouldn't stand in their way.". Everyone getting so pissed at him on the behalf of the 2nd Amendment is embarassing me. The "I wouldn't veto it" statement is the stupidest, least credible thing to ding him on. I was shouting at my screen over Luke saying that quote from RFK is somehow pushing for an "Assault Weapon Ban", and I LOVE Luke! That was idiotic, bordering on a lie from Luke and completely unfair. If I didn't know any better I would say it was in bad faith. I'm not even voting for RFK, because I don't like how close he is with the party of scorched-earth-gun-hate. I'm voting for Trump, who is also completely ignorant and feckless regarding the 2nd amendment. Almost every single Guntuber I watch, hates how crap Trump is on the 2nd Amendment. Just look at what MrGunsNGear, VSO Gun Channel, or Langley Outdoors say about Trump. They absolutely pillory him over not knowing the most basic issues of the 2nd Amendment fight, like what he did on his Bumpstock ban and what he said at that recent NRA event he spoke at this month of May. Suffice to say, criticize those you disagree with through truth, not through misunderstanding them and arguing against accidental strawman issues. RFK is actually, rhetorically, the most gun friendly candidate in the race, as he has said in that original "I wouldn't veto it" quote, something along the lines of "The 2nd Amendment is pretty much impossible to get around, because the language is so absolute.". That's as close to a candidate saying "Shall not be infringed." as we've ever gotten, and it deserves recognition. As an avid pro-gun voter, RFK has spoken like he understands the 2nd Amendment far better than the other 2 frontrunners in this race. The only person who's done better is Vivek, who I adore and is my main reason for supporting Trump.

So I know RFK Jr. has his expertise in some areas, but when going over the 14th Amendment's language, my mind screamed at me that this man is an idiot. He kept trying to focus on "born" = citizen when Tim was trying to get him to focus on "personhood" which was an entirely different idea in that document. Plus, RFK Jr. would rather play on people's emotions than adhere to the actual law. This is a red flag for me. The moral question is important, but you can't ignore the legal side of an argument. Democrats / leftists play upon people's emotions and will skirt the law if they can get away with it. That is why RFK Jr's statements around the abortion and gun topics will not win my vote. Also, any law passed by Congress that limits citizens from having weapons without due process is Unconstitutional. Period. Congress does not have the authority to strip people of their Constitutionally protected rights. That is the point of the Bill of Rights. The government is not permitted to do these things. Thus, we need to remove all these unconstitutional laws from Congress and edicts from agencies like the ATF.

No one likes all the shootings, but why are these facts NEVER presented when the debate comes up? Do you want to live in a world where only the criminals have guns at their disposal? EDIT: And so much legislation has already been passed that would stop a lot of people from obtaining guns for mental illness, etc... They just don't enforce those laws, nor do they share information in all cases that would come up on a background check if they did share the information. We don't need MORE legislation!!!

It is the price to be paid for freedom. Free speech means some will take advantage and say things we do not like but you don't take away free speech for everyone to stop those things being said. You don't take away everyone's right to self defense to deal with some insane individuals. I feel the same for abortion; I don't like it and it also should be regulated (nothing after 12 to 14 months unless it is for the life of the mother for example) but it is a freedom and you don't take it away from woman because there will be some woman who will abuse it. @michaeloxlong That was the intent of the Progressives all along. Since the mid to late 1800s, they've believed that humans had enough knowledge and expertise to overcome all problems. They've pushed to change our government so that the legislature just sets guidelines and the experts in the executive branch would male the rules. The result is what we have now, with unelected bureaucrats holding more power than the President, and no interest in the benefit of the people of this nation.

Abortion issue is very simple IMHO. The religious and moral argument will not speak to people devoid of those values and vice versa. There's no common ground to be held. Instead of that it should be approached from the angle of accountability. To put it simply, babies aren't happening when there isn't lots of casual sex happening and when preventive measures are being held. Here in the UK your mind would be blown out of your skull if you talked to average teenagers and young adults about anticonception methods and their efficacy. For all the sex education in schools, maybe instead of being talked about sucking dicks and gay sex, they should focus more on birth control education because holy shit, people are so stupid nowadays it's not even funny.

Almost everyone, including immigrants, legal and those without legal statuses, can get a DL/State ID with at least an ITIN. Those without ITINs are often eligible for city-based IDs in the so-called "sanctuary cities" like NYC. This doesn't mean they can vote, but it also doesn't mean that just because people have IDs that they have the info/proof needed to verify voter eligibility or registration.

I should add, especially directed towards my brothers and sisters of the populist 'left' and populist 'right', 'progressives', 'libertarians', and people who are just antiwar, in general... -RFK Jr. is in support of Israel (as am I). However, this in *no* way means he isn't also in support of helping the innocent people within Gaza. RFK Jr. has always been very aware of the conditions for the people within Gaza, and is especially aware of, and feels deep heartache for, the Hell they are living in now. As President, he is a person who would do all he could to help seek lasting peace and prosperity for all in the region -although RFK Jr. is a supporter of Israel, he is not a fan of Netanyahu, and has said repeatedly that he would *not* be writing him a blank check with American dollars to do with as he wishes -there is no one who would fight harder or more tirelessly to reach out to everyone involved, as well as to leaders outside of the region, to try to negotiate and implement a sustainable peaceful solution for both the Israelis and the Palestinians. RFK Jr. would bring many ideas and a commitment to approaching the problem there from several different angles, and involving several other players. In fact, he would have been doing this before Oct. 7. (Simply yelling 'apartheid', 'genocide', etc is *not* in service of an actual *solution* - ask Hamas) -and unlike anyone from the 2 major parties who supports Israel, RFK Jr. would never be lead by the corrupt (and disgusting) sheer financial interests of the Military Industrial Complex when it comes to *any* of America's foreign policy; including with Israel

It's also interesting to note that the Satanic temple has been advertising "abortion rituals" that can be performed when women go get this done 👀

Then wear a condom. If you're against abortions, don't have unprotected sex. But don't force someone else to risk their life or livelihood under threat of prosecution, for a child they don't want.

This is one of Kennedy's better interviews. Clear position statements on a variety of issues. The race is between Trump and Kennedy. Biden is looking at coming in 3rd place. Biden finishing last in itself is the revolution.

It's possible. I suspect if the Libertarians get a good nominee with a good VP pick and manage to get on Timcast and Rogan and the like, the LP might replace the Democratic Party in 2028. The Democrats have drifted so far to the extreme left that I think a lot of sane liberals are ready to jump ship. Some of them will vote for Trump and a lot of them will choose not to vote for Biden. Some might vote for RFK Jr. I don't see him winning a lot of Republicans and Libertarians (especially not principled libertarians). Some of those disaffected liberals might stay home in November. We'll end up with four years of Trump (or given his age, his VP who I hope he chooses wiser than he did last time). But here's the thing. We're ready for a realignment like happened in the 1850s. If the LP can get their message out (and people get over the insane idea that third parties "can't win" an election), they have a possibility of being a spoiler in 2024 (probably giving the election to Trump). And that means in 2028, we could have a healthy Libertarian Party in place of the Democrats. And the cool thing is, the Republicans should be fed up with Trump by then, so the Republic Party might be ailing as well, giving an opportunity for real reform under libertarian lines. Or we will have collapsed into civil war by then and none of this will matter. That's an important thing to think about. Who do you want to be in charge when the country fractures along ideological lines admidst a DEEP economic depression? Clowns on my right, senile old men on my left...and RFK Jr.? Maybe I just want to move to a cabin the Alaska wilderness and reemerge when the shooting stops.

@@lelamarkham5863 The Dem party is not going anywhere, even if they had some internal meltdown (unlikely) the very same DHS-media-uniparty machine, that both Tim and RFK were describing, can't afford to loose all of their insiders and would prop up the party and run constant propaganda cover. US politics hasn't been on the level for over a century, this sort of backroom stuff was going on when Teddy Roosevelt was still a governor. However, it is is very plausible that Biden's base starts to bail and go to RFK over the summer as the reality sets in. Hard to say how it goes from there, I already notice increased talk of replacing Biden at the convention as the polls swing to Trump. (Dems are loyal to the herd not the man and only keep him because they thought he had the best shot.) Now if RFK was to win as an independent, that would definitely boost the LP in '28 or '32, Although the media would double down on ignoring the LP and artificially inflating the Green Party as a distraction just as they have since the '90s (The GP of the USA is completely hollow controlled opposition, specifically used to detract from LP publicity, with the added side effect of further splitting 3rd party votes.).

It was a good show, Tim. It was an interesting conversation and I'm glad you brought him on. He had his principles and it was what it was. Those principles did not align with mine, but I can respect him. A man that can change his ideals for the better is always welcome.

Since we are one the same page on that, how about we just discuss why a person can't change their mind, ever, or he immediately becomes a flip flop. I stand by my take, anyone who changes their mind on a subject toward the better is always welcome.
