Pinning this here, theres rumors of this kit causing skin allergies. I had no such issue with my review sample and i have very sensitive skin. Like the wrong detergent will screw me up. It is most likely mold release , helps get the plastic out of its mold. Wash your tunners in hot water and soap to be safe

Thanks for the video. I think a lot of us are excited for this kit (except for the numerous amount of Nightingale haters). I’m curious to see how it will scale against my RE/100 Nightingale. Hopefully this kit will disassemble well, as I plan to paint it. A detailed model like this deserves a premium coat of primer, surface smoothing sanding, and nice flat or anondized metallic paint. I’m going to go the flat paint direction because I personally dislike the Nightingale in metallic red, most metal reds available on the market look too pink (notably, the Gundam Marker EX Astray set red marker is a prime example of a very pinkish pale red) or extremely dark red. Plus metallic colors don’t really do well with other metallic colors visually, they look too busy. Metallic paint on the inner frame with a flat topcoat will create an easy anondized/powder coated matte look without needing specialized metallic flat paint. I’m hoping the price is justifiable, metalman x rumored it’s supposed to cost $60 but I dunno…the scale and level of detail is telling me closer to $85 when it hits the American market. I gladly paid $120 for the RE/100 at the hobby store, but after building it…I wasn’t overly impressed. I knew it would be a hollow polycapped mess, which is ok for when it was made and the grade that it’s made in. It’s obvious the visual design has been replicated from the Artifact candy toy Nightingale, and Metalman x Rumours that some parts from the legs are from the RG Sazabi. I haven’t built that model so I don’t really know for sure with just a glance. TLDR: I want this model. Hoping price is at or below $80. Hoping for completely original inner frame and joint design but wouldn’t be surprised if some parts are bootlegged directly. Overall looking impressive. Hoping to paint metallic frame and flat red body with multiple shades of colors to invoke an aircraft idea. Solid review. Thank you!

@@SamRK-1000 as far as taking it apart to paint it once it's built I'll give ya a heads up. Those yellow parts on the rear I was talking about are really in there , and there are a rubbery plastic for parts of the inner frame and can be tricky to remove once installed. Not doubting your skill level :) just a friendly heads up

Looks like it will be a nice complement to the RG Hi-Nu. I like some of the design changes from the original Nightingale design. I just wish the waist didn't look so thin... maybe this is just an issue when looking at it from certain angles, and won't be noticeable with some careful posing.

Awesome, I like the head design and the redesigned with the digigrade legs and shoulders, despite not having as much a 'leafy' look as the original, and the the sub arms looking really small. I think it looks almost as good as the Nightingale. I am a bit iffy on the vents on top of the wing binders but I like the idea. My only real issue is that I don't quite feel that all the pieces of the body seemed flow esthetically well altogether. Still I like it a lot, reminds me a bit of a dinosaur in a way.

@@Keryaken133 while building it the soft rubbery structure frame parts can be an pain the ass, especially on the big butt with the propellent tanks as you really gotta push them in. It's solid once together, waist will swivel if you pick it up but that's because the huge amount of weight on the back. Mines also a pre production sample so what you get will probably be an improvement

It's technically not exactly to scale , just a tad bigger than the bandai hg 1/144 but it's not 1/100 it would be even bigger then

The Nightingale is 27.8m tall. That means that a 1/144 scale nightingale should be about 19.3cm. A rx 78 2 is like 18m so 1/100 rx 782 is 18cm tall. Considering this nightingale is a tad bit taller than the mg rx 782 it means the scale is pretty accurate, it's just that the nightingale is that massive.

Yeah I've been seeing those on Facebook. Imma be real, I have very sensitive skin like if I use the wrong detergent I'll get rashes. My review copy caused no reaction, there's a chance it's mold release. A chemical used to remove the plastic from its mold when making them. If you wanna be safe just wash your runners in purple power or hot water and soap just be careful not to loose any parts lol

@@DellsGunplaetc. Thanks. I do hope that’s actually the cause of the allergy. Cleaning the runners before assembling is an easy solution. It would be better if the manufacturer, the company, and the distributors would release a statement to clarify this issue before it blows out of proportion.

There are some big seam lines like on the front " cod piece" but also keep in mind this was a sample. There is a chance it gets better with release

One glance & you already know that this is china made. 😂 Its typical. A standard slim MS with tons of accessories attached to it. 😂 Though they tried to bring out as much details as they could, which i think it is nice & cool but, they messed up everything else. Parts that doesn't fit, parts came off every 2 seconds, loose joints, overweight issues, limited articulations & lots more. If it is a REAL GRADE, then i guess Char would died in the 1st sortie. 😂 The idea with Nightingale is to make a MS that almost a MA. This kit failed in making that. Hence, its a failed Nightingale to be. Despite of the high price, i think the HGUC Nightingale still beat this thing in every single way.
