RGB SPLIT EFFECT in Premiere Pro WITHOUT PLUGINS

In this video I'll show you two different ways to create an RGB Split effect in Premiere Pro without using and third party plugins. One of the methods is a simple technique that adds more of an RGB blur than a split, but the second method creates the traditional RGB split effect that you're probably here to learn.
These same concepts can actually be applied to After Effects as well!

You should be able to just lower the opacity even further on the above clip in the beginning and have it go up to 50% towards the end. I would duplicate the clips for everything then put the upper clips into a nested sequence and adjust the opacity using keyframes for the duration of the video. Let me know if that works for you!

Hey Laurel! I just quick did in a search in Premiere and it looks like the Channel Mixer has been moved into the "Obsolete" section in the video effects. I have the most updated version of Premiere currently installed on my computer so let me know if you're able to locate it! I believe it's being phased out due to old code. Hopefully Adobe develops a replacement for it that isn't so intensive on our computers!

Hey @Dominic Krupp Can I actually make this with just a adjustment layer instead of duplicating clips? I got to do that for a large amount and its a too much for my pc to handle, it crashed about 20 times before rendering the video (which is approximately 10 minutes), and can you 'recommend' a plugin or something for my work to be easier?

Welp, I didnt render that, but instead I found a better way by browsing through Premiere, there is a effect called VR Digital Glitch, which adds the same effect but a little bit too much, but that suited! And hey, thank you for trying to help me ;D
