2016 Fiesta ST Review + Drive - The Best Hot Hatch?

To the owner, really great choice of vehicle. This is the exact color and spec (from what I can tell) that I have priced up about a couple dozen times on Ford's site. I've driven one without the Recaro's and it's still a blast. So I can only imagine how much better feel you get with the better bolstering. I've owned a stage 2 2006 WRX, a mostly stock 2008 Chevy Cobalt SS (turbo), and currently own a mildy modded APR stage 1 2013 VW GTI. Nice video.

there's no upgrade for the "drums".. lol.. all US Fiesta ST's have disk brakes and all of them dont have an upgrade for the brakes n rotors or calipers. only option is for painted calipers.

I had a Molten Orange 2014 FIST., with the orange Recaros. Traded it in for a Black RS. I wouldn't mind finding a used one someday as a second car.

To any potential Fiesta ST owners, be patient and get one without those Base, crappy, Non-Recaro seats !! :) It's worth the wait. This is a mass-produced car. We're not talking about a Vintage Alfa Romeo GTV here lol :-)

I prefer the Fiesta's interior and how it's exterior looks compared to the Focus. That said, I still went with the Focus for the engine and more room.

your mini number are very wrong. 189 HP and 220 tq and 2014 there was a refresh so it's now Gen 3 f series, like BMW. i own a mini and killed all fiesta that came my way. just saying that car is not better than a Cooper s . dope channel tho

Cory Petersen Cooper s is better in interior, and speed. driving dynamics i can't say I've never driven a fiesta, but I raced one and pulled buses on that foo, he was stage 2 , I was stock... fiesta needs a big turbo to be fast.

I had an r56 cooper S and was about to upgrade to an f56 Cooper S with a JCW tuning kit. I will admit the interior is better and it’s a slight bit quicker but when it comes down to maintenance the ford wins. I go up to the canyons weekly and as far as Corning and driving dynamics go they’re both on par so it’s a tie. As for straight line speed. I think with the right tired they’re at the same pace. That’s just my .2

I had one about 4 years ago (I was 42) and the ride made me trade it in a few months. I loved driving that car immensely for about 20 minutes. So intoxicatingly fun to drive, not so much to daily drive. Have they revised the suspension since the first year or two? I miss that thing.

Right now you can get a base Focus ST and Fiesta ST for the same money around here.

They put softer springs and bigger sway bars in it sometime in '16. Don't expect a cushy ride, though. I'm told that Bilstein B6 shocks tame that rough damping a bit, but I'm OK with how mine rides. It's smoother if you go fast.

They stick even a tiny bit better if you spec them with the Bridgestone Potenzas!! But for an all season.. those Michelin pilot sport as/3's are a really excellent choice. They stick great too
