You can ajust picinpic wihout lossing proportion by using the up and down arrows on the letf top corner.

I hope you can help me. I have this unit, but, I can't figure it out and need so much help... for instance (BTW, I am an old lady) I have it attached to two camera but it will not connect to my desktop Mac. Secondly, why do I need to put it on the ethernet? How does one do that when my ethernet is way far away from where my Mac is.... Anyone please HELP !!!!

Thanks for the video. I just bought this unit for my small av company. We do small meetings and weddings. Planning on mixing different computers inputs or cameras for slides and cctv. Cheers!

Hi, when transitioning you found a frame getting in between, which is visible. However, if you used the screen to hard cut, instead of the numbered buttons, I could not see it. The transition was smoother.

It's does it on both. Trash.... returned mine and bought a Atem mini pro. Can't use that crap for professional live streaming....save your money and time and buy a Atem mini pro...

Thank you for a informative video. I have one question. Were you able to set and access preset positions for the PTZ-camera on the RGB Link Mini Pro? That would be a good feature But i assume that is not the case with this one.

I don't recall that being an option, but I only tested the PTZ camera options briefly. Maybe shoot the guys at RGBLink an email and see what they say.

Good question! I'm not sure, I think if they have the same sort of setup, it should work with other brands, but maybe email the RGBLink to make sure.

Had to laugh . . " 90's style switching " wipes ( re: music videos paused mid dissolve ) Yup I remember. I'd say at this point 30 years later, video switching is much more like cinematic editing, very sparing on gimmicky wipes. Looks like this little guy can get you a clean video with 4 HDMI's on short leashes. Thanks, great job !!

Yup. This is the one. The feelworld L2 didn’t have on board recording. Right now I have 2 cameras and a computer (Mac). Right now, when I play a clip for the audience, i have to introduce it, play it on the Mac with the sound off, comment on the clip, then in post find that spot, insert the correct clip, and mix the audio. It’s s pain especially with 5-10 clips in a single video. With the RGBlink, I hope to record in it in, use my Mac to output the clips via HDMI, have the sound mixed, and comment on the clips during the playback. With the built in screen too I don’t have to buy a second monitor or external recorder along with the video switch. Thing you so much for this review.

When you're excited by a bit of kit, that'll save editing time. You order the RGBlink, then you root through your kit and realise that only one of your camera's allow for live view. 😢😭😭

Great video, thank you for the details. I keep trying to find a way for the camera angles to switch automatically, so that I could run to adjust a camera if needed. There is the auto view feature, but I can't get it to work. If you've figured this out, I would greatly appreciate it!

hi, can i ask few questions, 1st what is the format for video recording, can you show the quality of video recorded, is it compress? loss in detail?, 2nd, can you try for us the audio coming from each of the hdmi inputs. I do want to compare with atem iso extreme. This is quite interesting

Thanks for the great video def earned a like and subscribe! ..I'm really interested in getting this for my first video switcher... I'm really big on the audio syncing with the video... Is it as simple as dragging the the video and the audio files to the start of the session in your program of choice? Do they line up pretty seamlessly or do you have to do some maneuvering?

Two questions, did you ever get the chroma-key to work? And do you have a video on how to set up for live stream, and how to setup audio using a mixer through it. (Programs, hardware setup etc.) I have the Behringer XR18 and was hoping to use that for live music (guitar & mic)

They sent me a tutorial to get it to work, but it's not very intuitive. There's a way to reverse the layers I couldn't for the life of me get working. I was shown an example video of it working, but I didn't want to spend any more time on it.

How do you lower the brightness or contrast? I can't find any settings in the menu on the unit. I'm running this with an LED wall and the output it's sending is so bright I can't do a blackout on the wall. It's like a faint white on the screen. If I run straight through my laptop this isn't a problem.

If you're using something like OBS you can add a simple contrast or color filter. The switcher will output whatever it's given so check your camera settings and make sure whatever program you're using isn't set to automatic exposure and remove all custom settings. if it looks good on the built-in screen, it's your computer and if not, it's the camera.

It should be fine on a USB C power bank that meets the requirements.

Thanks for the video - I am hearing a lot about this item overheating A LOT. When you had yours did you have this issue? I am planning a video podcast for about an hour or less recording time. What do you think?

I never had this overheat once. Just make sure you have it on a flat surface and you should be fine. Filming these videos alone takes a few hours and it's never glitched on me.

@@GeekyNerdyTechy one last thing. I have a usb webcam I’d like to use too. The usb connection on the switcher looks to be an “out” port. Does it have a usb in port or do you think a usb to hdmi adapter would work here?
