The most crushing part about Rogue's defeat is not going 0-3, it is the fact that they were playing at their absolute best and still get beaten. I hope Rogue's players recover from this fast, cause knowing you give it your all and your competition is still better really makes you doubt yourself. You can see from the players body language after the game, their self believe and confidence in group stage is all gone.

Game 1 Gragas/Graves vs Renekton/Vi honestly should be a decent 2v2 that's winnable on either side. RGE played to outnumber/bait too hard and got punished by countergank several times. Kanavi just has the game sense to be at the right place along with the confidence to say he'll win every fight and dump every ounce of damage he can in every exchange. They played with a lot of stress, Trymbi on Nami played frontline like he was a Rakan several times even trying to bodyblock a Herald charge. Malrang losing the game with the r q misses. There were huge blunders they shouldn't make, overextending knowing Kanabi was there, Vi not running to take her blue before Kanabi arrives to steal. Stress is a huge factor and I guess it will be a good experience for them, they need more BO5 international stage

I think, Rogue's bot duo Comp/Trymbi can thrive in LPL. They're THAT good. Otherwise, I still feel like Malrang was too pressured to fight those playmaking Chinese junglers. Not even mad at Rogue, there was just a gap, they couldn't do much more, and they still did a great year. Sure there were very unsual mechanical mistakes, but they did prepare their draft, they tried things, and they held well to some extent. I genuinely feel bad for the players, and for all the hate they will receive. That said, i'm very worried with the state of LoL in the West. NA is going to Valorant and will probably never be a competitive region in LoL, and Europe had reasons to hope until 2019-2020, but what's left now ? I'm afraid the gap has just become too wide, and there is a reason why LFL is even catching up LEC in terms of viewership : people need hope and a good storyline, they cannot just support when they already know the result.

@dsadsadsa all the ups and down in MSI and Summer T1 became strong this worlds. Facing RNG in Msi finals is not fair for them. but RNG cant take down T1 easily and bring it to Game 5. but Later we will see the fair match of this Two best rivalry in Worlds history.

Games were not even close. And 369 was hard smurfing. Kanavis performance was also brilliant. But overall a huge Team gap especially in teamfight mechanics/decisions. Anyone saying Rogue had a chance is delusional. From here, the Tournament takes a new leap. I hope the Final of this worlds will be absolutly close in Skill and Drafts and an absolut banger.

First game rogue got outdrafted so hard on top,jg and bot, second game was a bit better but still outdrafted for letting aphelios+lulu open and the third game rogue drafted good but still lost because of few mistakes. I think they had a pretty good chance if they didn't fuck up first 2 drafts.

except the quarterfinal matchups are random and they would have faced jdg sooner or later anyways. also my guess would be they picked the troll champs to try out something while the risk is low. but i agree that nasus support was too much.

RGE lost simply because of top and jungle gap, mostly jungle. JDG will be destroyed if you shut down 369 and Kanavi, if you don't, you lose. Odoamne is a good player, but 369 is better, same goes for Malrang and Kanavi. It was obvious to me who would win. Congratulations to RGE for the way they played, they gave their all but it is not enough vs much much better players.

Yeah Malrang didnt play well but it wasnt just top and jungle. Larrsen barely roamed or helped the jungle and didnt even get a lead. Kavani could push Malrang from the jungle just because his team helped him.

RGE played too bait-style and could never turn fights in every 2v2 top. Also double AD top jg makes Graves perfect pick game 1 with his innate Armor passive. If Larssen was on LB game 1 Graves would disappear if he ever overextended in fights.
