Awesome, but I still want people to purchase first and try them out and see any bugs and updates on that new DjI air 3S . 👍

Always bugs and firmware updates!

I want something more dynamic like longer range longer flight time and better signal. specially, I like to flight nighttime .

I purchased my Air 3 in February so I know I won’t pick up this upgrade at launch. Perhaps next year I might get this when they start offering discounts. But it’s looking like my RC 2 will work with it as well as the batteries from my Air 3 Fly More package so that’s great news.

i just want to know how much of an improvement the track remote will make the drone fly following it verses using optical sensors and using native active track 360.
@RGMGFitnessАй бұрын
Should make a big difference if it's anything like the Skydio beacon. Worked really good and that was a few years ago when I used it...it's also why DJI is using the LiDAR sensor on this drone. It's got to be more responsive if its tracking you and something gets in the way. Small branches were always an issue with the Skydio drone.
@YoyoEnglish-oq9weАй бұрын
@@RGMGFitness So lets say the LiDAR sensor on the drone is "necessary" to be able to use with the remote track. That would exclude all previous models. So thats gonna make people mad if they go that route and they would need to drop a mini 5 before they give us a mavic 4. Hard sell if they say its gonna work perfect with LiDAR and not so well without LiDAR.

I'm hoping they will release a wide angle lens attachment for this like they did with the Air3
@lilipok3521Ай бұрын
Why do you need it?
@bryanladdphotographyАй бұрын
@@lilipok3521 I use drones for selling big parcels of land. My air2s with it's 22mm is not always wide enough and I can not fly high or far enough away for some projects.

I believe the Mini 5 Pro will get that 1” sensor & Beacon ability. I have the Mini 3 Pro & was looking for an Air model, the Air 3s is going to be a great addition then I’ll grab the Mini 5 Pro to replace the Mini 3 Pro

Is that the deepest discount we can expect on the Air 3?
@RGMGFitnessАй бұрын
For the near future “yes”. May drop a week or two after the 3S launch. Just have to keep checking DJI website.

Will it be compatible with the RCN2?
@RGMGFitnessАй бұрын
Yes, there should be at least two 'Fly More Combo' packages. One with the RC2 Controller and the other with the RC-N2 controller. I also posted more about this in my other video as well; kzbin.info/www/bejne/mJOwhaRteq1qb5Ysi=z13SVCGfy2lErTpd

Anymore word on the RC track. I saw everyone talking about it then the air3s was released and everyone went silent. Wonder if this was real rumor?
@RGMGFitnessАй бұрын
Yes, it's coming. Thought it would release with the Air 3S but I guess they're waiting a bit longer (I don't have any dates on it yet). I'll post something if I hear anything. Right now, DJI is dealing with some U.S. Customs issues (which may be related as well)...just posted something about that as well. kzbin.info/www/bejne/jJ6zhH19ftWYr6ssi=z1pXG-IgnfROACMo

@ I don’t know, with the next round of DJI releases coming out I ain’t hearing anything on the RC track beacon yet. I am questioning the authenticity of the leak. Unless they are holding it for the Mavic 4 release.

It won't have 14 stops of dynamic range. No chance in Hell with that 1 inch sensor. DJI is not telling the truth on that.
@RGMGFitnessАй бұрын
If it doesn’t deliver on DJI’s marketing..people will be all over it I’m sure! 👍
@CLIFFLIXАй бұрын
@@RGMGFitness - It’s very hard for a huge, full frame sensor to produce 14 stops of dynamic range. Even Panasonic’s MFT sensor in the GH7 only produces about 13 stops… and that employs a very sophisticated Dual Conversion Gain technology to do that. If this 1 inch sensor produces 11 or 11.5? That would be a miracle and considered excellent. DJI better fix their marketing materials fast.
@RGMGFitnessАй бұрын
@@CLIFFLIX We'll find out soon enough. DJI Support 'claims' the DJI Pocket 3 has a maximum of 12.7 stops. I'm not sure how to test that but I'm sure others do...

Please remember to tell people.... The RC2 controller has to be sent away to have a new battery fitted which all-in cost is around £100. (that's battery cost, p&p plus labour).. DJI has designed the rc2 controller so the customer(s) can't replace the battery themselves, you can't even buy the battery as dji do not sell the controller battery(s) to customers. It's not just the air 3 range but mini 4 pro etc controller. Yet no-youtuber who promote dji drones NEVER explain these problems. People should be fully aware of this before you rush out to buy a dji drone. Yes they are fun to fly, but the cost of replacing the controller battery is HUGE for a simple £30 battery which you can NOT buy and fit yourself. The battery might last you 2 years depends on how much you use the controller and charge it. It takes about one month to send away and have your new battery fitted, returned plus £100 plus.

Good to know....hopefully this information helps a few folks out. The RC2 has the 18650 Li-ion batteries, the typical lifespan is about 300 to 500 charge cycles before their ability to hold a charge decreases to around 70-80% of their original capacity. In real-world use, this usually translates to about 2 to 3 years of regular usage before you'll notice a significant drop in performance and need to consider replacing the batteries. I don't own this controller myself but certainly worth knowing....I didn't deliberately exclude this information in my video there is often so much information to cover most just can't cover everything. Appreciate the reminder though....
