I have the same Challenger pro. I also measured the voltage earlier this month and also got 7.46v. I noticed that the manual is the standard Challenger manual that has been poorly updated. The steer servo is a high voltage servo(8.4v). Would it then be a full 35kg on 7.5v? I'm fitting 120mm shocks, will see how it goes. Unfortunately ALL the micro servos left the chat. Dig servo lasted about 30min... the other two burnt without me using it...

Thanks a lot for watching and your kind comment my friend. I don't know the original manual, but poorly upgraded would explain a lot. Hadn't this possibility in mind. I'm curious about your shock experiences. So feel free to report😉. I'll leave mine for now untouched. This is my first crawler with a (kind of) droop configuration. And I like it so far. It scares me that your litttle servos're all gone. Especial because they really don't have to work hard. I've no explaintions for it. Even micros should get along with 7.4 V. Breaking down without usage is unusual. Looks like something's wrong in the ESC or receiver. Hard to say from here. I can only recomment to contact RGT. For the steering servo, I would say it's 35kg on 7.4 V. For normal all the manfactors use the rated voltage to have an equal language. 2S batteries charge up to 8.4 V, but this is cutted down to 7.4 V by the ESC. If you get 8.4 V to the servo the torque might be more than 35 kg. Also with 6 V you still have more than you need. For me, and I might be wrong, 8.4 V is just marketing, on a short research I found no clear indications about such a kind. Mostly adds. To get the real value, it has to bemeassured with scales. I've no 3S here or any experiences with them. So no comment about these.

That's a good feature for adding lights. That's good BEC power.

Thanks a lot. Although the trust in manuals is vanishing, I got draged to the light engineer side😁. Reminds me a lot of my RC boating times. Have a great weekend Mal

Hey Dirk, the RGT is looking good. You are putting a lot of personal touches on the RGT. The Rock lights definitely will help on the night runs. Great video.

Thanks a lot Al, I'm glad you like it. Growing up back in those days with expensive radios, I'm a litle bit paranoid leaving channels without a use. So the rock lights're the best choise for the use. 😊 Night run'll shown as soon as the weather's getting better.
