Dude, if i look on Ebay the chiki chiki boys are mostly sold (the cheapest i saw) for $50. I cannot even find it in marktplaats (dutch trade site for secondhandstuff) on the dutch Ebay it is mostly €30 euro but then you still need to pay for shipping (around €15 :( ) Anyway it is truly a hidden gem then since it is hard to find here in Holland.

Garfield has been the last Genesis game of my youth. It was a Christmas present and I still clearly remember every detail of that evening. We were quite poor so a brand new game was an event. I was so impressed by the smooth animations and the movie based themes of the levels. Still one of my fondest memories. Remember to make your kids happy while they are young.

Such an amazing list. I am always looking for new, colorful platformers to try out on the system and they are very rare on these types of videos. Quackshot is on my Top 10 list for sure. I remember playing it in an after-school studying center. I reach a certain spot and then some other kid would turn it off and put another game in the console, while I had to do my homework with the teachers there. Could never beat it back then. I wonder if you have ever heard about a game called Pulseman? I believe it is an amazing and high-quality platformer for the Genesis, which is highly unknown due to it being a Japan only release. It is 2 MB sized game, which speaks for how much it pushes the limits of the hardware. 🐱💻💕

Some other awesome ones IMO: _Cyborg Justice_ A beat-em-up with mechs that lets you literally RIP OFF enemies' body parts and attach them to yourself. 'Nuff said. _Death Duel_ A fascinating first-person "duel" game in which you must face off against a variety of opponents ranging from dragons to robots. The gameplay is sort of like a light-gun shooter, except you can freely sidestep left and right. What's especially cool about it is that you can BLOW OFF YOUR OPPONENT'S LIMBS, which actually hinders them in unique ways! I've never played anything quite like it. _Home Alone_ A surprisingly good movie-game that has you cruising around the neighborhood on your sled, booby trapping houses and crafting your own weapons. Yes, a Genesis game with a CRAFTING system! How often do you see that? _Mazin Saga: Mutant Fighter_ A criminally underrated beat-em-up with awesome boss battles that play out like a fighting game (ala Street Fighter). Don't pass this one up! _The Ooze_ An ingenius top-down game in which you play as a puddle of ooze, gobbling up enemies to become larger and more powerful. The ooze "physics" are really cool to watch, and something else that sets the game apart is that it has no HUD whatsoever (the ooze itself basically represents your health/armor).

Glad to see you mention zero tolerance. I got it at Goodwill years ago for a buck or two. I knew nothing about it and bought it just cuz it was cheap. After sitting on a shelf for a couple years I popped it in and I couldn't believe it. I didn't even think that kind of game was possible on the Genesis. But most shocking was I never heard of it. As a kid living in Eastern Europe all I had in nineties was a famiclone or fleamarket-sega as we called it (cause the case was same as genesis, weird i know) like almost every other kid, but my friend had a genesis or "original sega" and i remember being blown away by it. I m pretty sure i played Quackshot from the games you listed here and the Garfield one looks great too... To this day i believe Genesis platformers are one of the peaks in gaming history.

Virtua Fighter 2 for the Sega Genesis is not VF1 though. It just got the original 8 cast from VF1, everything else is from VF2 this includes all the stages, music, and the smoother graphical update unlike the blocky polygonal graphics from VF1. It also scrolls much smoother whereas VF1 doesn't scroll, it just change camera view.

Zero tolerance was HUGE. the game went on for the forever. Could never be accused of being too short. I liked the lift that took you to different levels. The office fire level was cool. Cool thing about the Sega Genesis is that there are several compilation collections on consoles like the PS2, PS3, XB360, Dreamcast and handhelds like the PSP which are very cost effective. I love the Sega Genesis Collection for the PSP & PS2 which has 28 games with save states plus some classic arcade games to unlock. Virtua Fighter 2 is in it. One of the games on the compilation collection that I never heard of before that I enjoyed is Decap Attack. Such a great platformer. I mostly play Shinobi 3, Comix Zone, Sonic 2 since it never gets old. Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection is another good one for the PS3 & Xbox 360. It has 40+ games and trophies/achievement support which is awesome. Great hidden gems video RGT 85. Hoping to see some more hidden gems Genesis games. You should also do some video reviews of some Genesis compilation collections that I mentioned.
