I have learnt a lot about how different things work in the world from you which obviously resulted in a certain amount of gratitude. The depth of Indian inner work is so deep that for instance if Ayn Rand has to figure out what Ramana has to say it will need a few rebirths for her. If she has to figure what he hasnt said then it will take even more rebirths ;P When it comes to literature I still remember the first line of Kalidas poem in Sanskrit. Kalidas describes the intimacy of Shiva and Parvati to be similar to that of a word and its meaning. At that time it just blew my mind!

200 years of British rule in India and for many years across the globe, the British were successful in making everyone believe that English language and their system of administration are the only way this human race will survive.I feel that the erstwhile British influence is still there .however I feel that communication in Telugu language is more detailed.the simplicity displayed by English is the main reason for its sustainability in the present day.

I differ with RGV on this aspect. The main reason behind popularity of English language was because of British ruled majority of the world and it spreads the language. Though our Telugu language confined within boundaries, but we do have great poets (Like Kalidas...etc), excellent novelists (Yandamoori...etc.). But one point that I do agree was that English has been reached-out each nook and crook of the world.

exactly felt the same, English is popular not because of its linguistic merits or simplicity , it spread all over the world because of Britishers don't have much land so they obviously has to step out of their home country and look out to earn bread through business or steal others prosperity through winning wars and then ruled them over long time. Hence the spreading of language happened and become a common language of the world.
