Hey guys! Lots are asking for paint color and I honestly can’t remember the name of it. Next time I’m at Home Depot I’ll try to get it and pin here in comments. Thanks for watching!

If you take the lid in, they can read the code on top to see what color it is. Or take a pic of the code on the lid and post it. We could then open the pic and they can scan it at the store. You have a great selection of vessels. We'll done!

Awesome did you happen to get the name?

The use of a thicker mixture that is applied with fingertips gives a more organic and unique presentation! Thank you

I recommend you seal these with kilz CLEAR primer or a clear spray sealer

Awesome job!! These turned out great. My favorite was the one you textured with the coffee grounds. This inspired me to create my own. I have several glass vases that I don't use anymore.

@@Hobomamacat A person could get empty wine bottles or other type liquor bottles that bars toss, redo them like this and sell or give as gifts. I like the different style irish cream bottles cuz they are unique. Think they would look cool. Just a thought.

Did you put the coffee grounds on after it dried or after you smeared it with the final thickened paint?
@lzrd84602 жыл бұрын
The large blue glass vase & the one before would have looked fantastic if you had added clay handles first. Just the shapes of those two would have looked perfect with handles.

So how, when giving your 2nd coat of texture, did your first layer not start to pull up. I did a pitcher and bowl set not to long ago and when after sitting for about a week b4 getting back to the 2nd layer of texture paint, small areas of my 1st layer would peel up slightly. Not enough to be noticeable but still annoying
@ambersmith71472 жыл бұрын
A primer might help with that.

hello, i have a question, what's in the bowl at 10:22, coffee or dirt ?

I liked it without the coffee grind.

Love these pieces! Did you add the dirt while the texture was still damp for better adhesions? Also, did you protect them afterward for outdoor use or what would you do if not? That is my intention.....some pots in the garden! Thankyou 🙂
@lesmeyer318 Жыл бұрын
slightly dampen the coffee grinds which will extract some color

Do you do any process on the vases before painting?
@MissMolly33773 жыл бұрын
If you put a clear coat of spray or polyurethane, polyacrylic, would you be able to wash them. I hesitate to make these, because the paint will just wash off, when I need to clean them.

Well I’m not being rude, but unless I missed something, you’ve been asked several times about the paint color, but no response yet!!! But have answered question before and after. We would just like to know the color of the paint…that’s all!!!
@Hobomamacat2 жыл бұрын
I’ve answered once before under someone’s comment but I believe they deleted their comment which caused mine to be removed as well. I don’t remember the name of the paint color (rookie mistake on my end since this is one of my first DIY projects uploaded on to YT).. didn’t know lots of people would want it but next time I’m at Home Depot I’ll try to find again and pin in the comments.
