Since when did no. 2 have a different whistle? Is this permanent or was it just for the event?

Number 2 didn't have a different whistle. The shot showing it at around 19:30 you can hear number 9 behind it.

No! It was built as a 'proper' railway, just 15" gauge as opposed to 4' 8.5".

No, this is more of a proper railway fir a smaller gauge. It didn't hold the title of "world's smallest public railway" for manny years for nothing.

Are any of these steam engines 4 sale, I am looking for a used Steam engine and coal car and three or 4 passenger cars, We are building a park in Maine, this is experimental for us and it would be wonderful for families and Kids so if you know where can I Buy any of these if Possible I would appreciate the information? thank You in advance!

None of them are for sale. Most of the RHDR locomotives have had that railway to call home since they were built, and Wilhan Beck also has a very firm home on the Ravenglass and Eskdale. If you want a 15 inch gauge locomotive, you would probably have to look elsewhere.

However, i don't know what it cost, but the Ravenglass and Eskdale did build 3 locomotives of it's 'Northern Rock' class. The other 2 where built for a park railway in Japan. Then again, that is some park if its 15 in gauge. Maxitrack also has a custom service to build battery-powered steam engine look alikes, but you have to make a inquiry for the price.

Try Exmoor Steam Railway, Bratton Fleming, Devon, England who do build narrow gauge locos.
